Pushing the limits.

She didn't know why his back was so bruised. He said he didn't want to talk about it. She rubbed the deep heat into his back, carefully. He winced a couple of times, but said nothing. His dark hair had grown longer, it now reached his collar. His face always looked tanned as if he had lived many years in a hot climate. She wanted to kiss every bruise on his body. She wanted to lick over them with her tongue. She had just applied the deep heat, so she couldn't. He must be hurting badly, but he showed nothing. He thanked her and slept with his head on her lap. She stroked his hair and thought how young he looked when asleep. She wondered again how she could love someone, she knew so little about. She laid him down on the couch and covered him with a throw. Thankfully his face was unbruised. His nose looked broken though. She kissed his face as he slept. He didn't stir. In the morning he came to her bedroom and climbed into bed with her. She assumed he needed comfort and allowed this. He wrapped himself round her and fell back asleep. She felt giddy, elated that he was with her right now.
