His Trial, Part IV

1054 Words
"This human has a pretty below average stats..." I felt quite offended by his statement. "...but he has incredible compability with the 'circuit'." "Go on." The commander said. "We've run tests on this human subjects and results shown that he's able to activate our weapons. To the lowest up to the highest class weapons. Same goes for the spinal ceptors, but he's unable to get full control due to the incompatible sizes." He rummaged his pockets and brought out his 'tablet'. After he started it up, a hologram appeared mid-air. It exhibited the scene of the test I'v gone through, as if it was a video but presented in a hologram. This looked like those future stuff that people at Earth were trying to invent or working on. It really looks cool and awesome. The hologram continued showing what happened the past week, there were a few embarassing moments that I didn't want to watch but I guess these coud be the thing that will help me prove that I'm not dangerous. "So this human... it's able to activate any weapon way too easily?" The commander asked. "Yes, sir. It can also go to full capacity without failing, though doing so may still drain its life force and die." D933 explained. That reminded me of the time I used thirty percent on the cannon 023 made me use. I was actually going to use about fifty percent because I thought I'd look cool but thirty percent was a big mistake as it is. I remember the painful sensation when I used that weapon, it was really draining my energy-- my life force as they say. "Putting all those aside, I'd like to know if this human is a part of Veldenes. Is he not?" That commander is really doubting my existense. "With the dna tests and samples, results says that he really is another specimen from a different race. He does not connect with those Veldenes in any way." D138 words really helps me be at ease. I'm gonna owe him a lot if my life gets spared at this moment. "Hmm, is that so..." he still looking doubtful about it. Damn, why can't he just believe D138? "...this creature has proven itself innocent." Ah, I can be at real peace right now! It eased my mind too. I've been on this for quite a while now, and I'm very bothered by the fact that they might kill me if they see me as a threat. "But will it return to its planet? Is it going to leave?" Asked the one on the right. All eyes suddenly landed on me. "Hm, will you return?" D933 asked the same. "I... uh..." just when I thought the pressure was gone. "...no, actually." Thank goodness I managed to answer though. "And why not?" Asked the one on the left. It seems that he's not very pleased with my appearance here. "If I-I have to be h-honest, I actually winded up here without knowing how." I gave them the most honest answer ever. But damn it, my excuse is unbelievable! Even if I'm already hearing it from myself. "That is... very vague." He said. "Yes, I can't believe it myself either." I muttered. "Then do you plan to stay on our planet?" Asked the one on the right. "I pretty much got no choice, so yeah. I think I'll be staying here." I answered. "We can't allow such a thing though." He stated. "We've been at war with foreign life form that was trying to dominate our own planet, and there you are, thinking you could live at peace here without any permission nor consent." "T-Then what should I do to have permission to live here?" I have no choice but to ask that. The three in command had gathered and talked about it. Maybe they're deciding what to do with me. It was quick, as they got back to their seats. "We have come to a decision. We can't allow such other foreign life form to live here, unless it let us utilize its very existense and cooperate with disburdening Delsyia of those pesky Veldenes." "But how?... how will I be able to help? I'm useless--" "Nonsense. Hearing those reports, your compability with our greatest weapon which is the circuit, is the most astounding thing we've discovered. Will you lend us the power you have? Of course, in return, we'll provide you food and shelter for free. And your very existense will be acknowledged and accepted by fellow Delsyians..." I can't refuse those terms, it's the only way I can live longer. "...that is, if you agree." He added. I sighed. Well, this way, I can't be a burden to them being like a freeloader. "Yes... I would do anything to help Delsyia." I answered. "Good choice, lad." The commander grinned. "D138, make a report about this and make sure that it does not spread. The General must know of this human, and that it had an agreement with the North High Officials." He ordered. "Yes, commander." "For this human, where will it be assigned to train, commander?" D933 asked. Then the commander on the left answered that. "He'll be in the care of the Delsyian he first met with. The new leader of n-squad 2 assymetricates, 023." "But commander!... those assymetricates with aberrant capabilities are incapable of guiding this human, they have gone through a much more difficult training than normal troops." D933 said. That made me felt uneasy, it makes me think that it's a way of them to get rid of me somehow. D138 did mention that I lack stats, and they clearly haven't put that into consideration when deciding. "It's a part of the agreement. Do you refuse to acknowledge the decision of the commanders in this court?" D933 stepped back. "N-No... I don't." "Then that's it then. You may send the human to the 2nd n-squad's main quarters and make the report about this." Hearing that made me smile a bit, thinking I can see 023 and the others again since it's been a while. We got dismissed but before we could get out of the court room, I glanced back at the three commanders and seen them with glaring eyes at me. Chapter end.
