The beginning

VANESSA'S POV

Have you ever felt like giving up so you don't have to feel the pain anymore so you can finally be free. Free from everything that had ones hurt you. So that no one can betray you and you won't cause anyone any pain.

Well, have you wondered why people kill.

Some kill because they grew tired of people walking all over them and their s**t.

Some do it to feel alive, the adreline.

Some do it to help people. Like police just without the badge.

Some are natural born killers.

And me, well, it's safe to say I fall into all 4 categories.

ON THE ROOF OF A BUILDING

"Well, who am I supposed to assassinate this time and why" I asked, those 2 idiots who I unfortunately call my best friends, in my ear piece

"I already sent the details to you an hour ago and you didn't bother to look at it why am I not surprised you never take anything seriously. Tell me how the f*****g hell are YOU the most feared assassin?" My angry best friend, Elizabeth, replied in return. "And that was a rhetorical question" she added as I was about to answer.

"Ohh c'mon cut her some slack. He is a rapist." my other best friend, Victoria answered my second question which I thought will be abandoned.

As I looked at his picture the only thing I thought was 'ohh damn'

"Are you sure he is the rapist. He is hot" I asked them.

"Even I thought the same thing, literally" Victoria replied.

"everyone is hot for the two of you if it includes a guy. But yes, Ness he is the rapist. Victoria you will stop Ness from shooting him if you keep looking at him like that." Elizabeth said to Vicky who I'm sure is looking at him like a kid that got its favorite candy.

"Puh-lease lizzy have I ever stopped Ness from shooting anyone?"

"Keep looking at him like that and I might soon" Lizzy retorted.

"It's not my fault that your so loyal to your crush that you won't even look at anyone else." Vic said 'pls Jesus tell me I didn't just say that and if I did please have mercy' she thought

'ohh she so did not just say that' I thought "It was nice knowing you but actually it is not but as this might be our last conversation I will be nice to you and lie my heart out." I said

"I only said that because it's been so long since I got laid so my brain isn't functioning properly." she said to lizzy who I think is spitting flame.

"You got laid freaking YESTERDAY" Lizzy said.

"Elizabeth if you don't calm down this instant I will bring a fire extinguisher home and empty it on your face and I'm not lying mind you." I said

"ohh no I'm not enduring that, AGAIN."

"You have to acknowledge the fact it was funny, tho."

"ohh yeah is was funny FOR THE TWO OF YOU."

"Ohh no it was not funny. It was hilarious." Victoria chimed in.

"you, I did not forget about you. I do NOT have a crush on Lucas."

"Sure and I didn't eat your last tub of chocolate ice cream. BTW It sucks."

"It was you who ate MY chocolate ice cream."

"oops"

"Why you little-"

As much as I enjoyed watching them fight I the person who I'm supposed to killing coming out of a shop. So I cut lizzy off and said "Guys kill each other later in my presence. I will be there shortly as I just saw my victim exactly where I want him to be."

They quit bickering like a kid and I shot him in the head. Yes, head shot,not like I didn't see that one coming as I have a fine aim.

" Not bad" Vic commented.

"" Not Bad" I shot him in the head and that's all you got to say?? "

" It's not like your first time so suck it up and get your ass over here fast Alexander wants to talk to us" Lizzy said

"Is it because he can't find Vivian, if so then I can assure you I didn't kidnap her and she didn't follow me too."

"I thought the same thing too. But she is with her mom. So get your ass here fast so we can find what it's about"

IN ASSASSIN AGENCY BUILDING

This is where people like me and Victoria are created. I didn't included Elizabeth because she is not an assassin but a hacker the best one there is but she does know how to shoot and fight and she only kills if the situation asks for it and she tells us where everything is sitting being the laptop. My assassin name is 'bloodlust' and Vic's is 'scarlet'.'Black Mask' is also an assassin. See no one knows about me being black mask and I'd like to keep it that way why I didn't tell anyone well its simple I have trust issues. Only Elizabeth, Victoria and Lucas know about me being black mask.Bloodlust is the best in the agency and only does mission which Alexander gives her. No one knows bloodlust is a girl, well some do but they just don't believe it.

Lucas is Elizabeth's crush and my best friend he is also Alexander's son and vivian' brother. but he, like Elizabeth, doesn't like violence.

So here we are now looking at Alexander like he is a baby who will cry after we divert our attention from him.

"Vanessa, I have a mission for you." Alexander said

"Wow a mission I thought we were going to have a family time." Sarcasm dripping from my words.

"No need to get all sarcastic on me. Your mission is to find black mask and kill him" wow, in other words, I have to kill myself. Just f*****g great.

"Or your going undercover as a high-school student and keep an eye on a mafia leader's son who goes to that high school, we suspect that they are up to something." he ended his speech.

"Sure, where is my gun." I rather shoot myself in the head than go to high school.

"She will go to high-school" and guess who said that.

If you guessed Elizabeth then your 100% right. Obviously she knew what I'd choose.

"And why should I need to be the one going" If I'm going down I'll go down with a fight.

"Simple your 17 and we don't need to change anything but your appearance and your name and before you say anything about Victoria she is...... Reckless, unlike you" he said and gave me the documents he was holding aand left.

I smirked seeing Vic's jaw hanging like she just saw her favorite actor confessing his love to her and she woke up to see she was dreaming.

Then I diverted my attention to my sweet little love birds who are blushing like they have been caught making out. Its clear they both like each other. I fake gaged and that's seems to catch their attention and diverted their eyes and saw us, they are giving a tough competition to tomatoes.

"So Lucas wanna swap bodies" I asked.

"What do you want my body for"

"Ohh nothing... it's just I have more balls than you to ask people on dates" after I said Victoria burst out laughing seeing lucas' mortified face, lizzy looked like she was planning a murder.

I open the document it contained my new name, address and details.

Lucas looked like he didn't hear anything that was going on as he asked me "Why is their files in your hand did you get a new mission." I swear I heard lizzy muttering imbecile and face palmed and vic burst out into another fits of giggles and I saw going at him like he grew another head.

"Nah it is not a mission its about how many people I slept with"

"ohh ok. So how many people did you sleep with"

Lizzy how was trying to bury her head in her hands spoke up at last "it is a new mission, you pillock"

"ohh, all the best. What is it about" he asked

"and this, my dear, what happens when Your busy eye rapping people in a meeting instead of concentrating." I said.

"You don't know what happened so we'll let lizzy do the honors of enlightening you on what you missed when you were eye rapping her and this time you better concentrate or I will hunt you down in your sleep" vic chimed in her voice turning from sweet to threating by the last sentence .

And we left the room leaving the two love birds behinds but of course not without vic saying "have fun..... But not too much" and me saying "use protection".

"I don't have a crush on Lucas, my ass"

"what do you think will happen in there" I asked Victoria and she just shrugged.

"Idk.. But I know for sure they won't do the deed. They don't have enough balls to do that."
