200 Years Later

206 years later, he walked this earth as a vampire, not ever knowing who his master was or why he turned him. His soul was taken from him, having to adapt to this new life and, since he lived forever, well, he became successfully rich. Aaron is still handsome, his appearance will stay forever, looking like he’s thirty-two years old, the day he was turned. I do miss my blue eyes, but I have grown attached to the dark brown eyes, not that I can do anything about it. He thought to himself about his past. It’s 4:30 a.m. in New York, searching for his next victim. Standing in front of his favorite bakery, I can’t eat food, but I do love the blood from sweet addicts, preferably pastries. Thinking to himself while closing his eyes, taking in the delicious scent of fresh baked goods. Their blood is sweeter than a person that just eats healthily or has a regular diet. He’s not quite sure but, guessing old habits never die, no pun intended, but he does find himself the biggest fan of his own off-center jokes. The doors to the bakery had just opened, and a woman walked in, wearing Prada shoes and a $3,000 dress. “Too bad she wasted her money on those shoes, after I have her for breakfast, she won’t have to buy another piece of clothing.” Laughing softly in my baritone voice. He couldn't help but lick his bottom lip at the thought of her blood. Just thinking about her blood made him not want to wait for the right moment. Watching her for over a month, buying pastries three times a week. He just knew her blood would be so sweet, sweet as honey, as far as he could remember, what honey tasted like. Like his unknown Master did to him, Aaron hid in a dark alley beside the storefront and waited for her to come out. She finally walked out carrying a white box. Watching her, listening to the Prada heels clicking on the sidewalk. Looking around from the alley, making sure no one else was around. He stalked silently and lethally behind her, smelling the sweet scent of her blood. In a split second, he was behind her, reaching out, putting his large hand over her face so she could not scream. Aaron put just enough pressure on her to not breathe. Damn, this girl is strong, wriggling and kicking. Wrapping the other around her waist to hold her up, he went back into the alley with her as quickly as he went out. Bending her head to the side and biting down on the carotid artery, he could see it pulsing with blood in the pulsing vain. She tried to scream but became limp from his bite. His fangs are injected with a poison that keeps the victim from being able to move while he enjoys the warm flow of the blood. “Damn, this is so good. If I wasn’t a vampire, I would be a diabetic by now.” Savoring the moment and drawing out every drop of blood from her. While feeding, his hand wrapped around her waist naturally, slowly sliding up her dress. He grabbed her breast, pinching her n****e. He drank till her blood ran dry and there was no pulse in her artery. Feeling refreshed and his hunger was content inside of his body. Aaron is not like other vampires that he had met over the years. Other vampires would have shredded her with their talons while drinking her blood. Leaving her so shredded up she would be hard to identify. He wasn’t like that, maybe it was because his master didn’t stick around to teach him how to be a true cold vampire. “Well, I should be good for a couple days.” telling myself while standing up. He smoothed out his very expensive clothes. Looking at his Rolex, he realized the time. I have just enough time to get back to my penthouse apartment before the sun comes up. Placing the woman he just fed upon gently down in dark alley floor. The alley was home to the shadow seekers. Aaron knew they would come out of the walls to take her body to their domain so they could feed on her flesh. So, he wasn’t worried about anyone finding her. Just before he walked out of the alley a woman walked into the bakery, she was tall, blonde, and curvy. She was wearing scrubs, obviously working in the medical field. “f**k that body, like I really want to f**k her.” He decided to hang out in the alley and just watch her, he still had time before the sun came up. “Maybe she will be my next plaything before I make her my breakfast in a few days.” laughing softly he said to himself. She came out ten minutes later carrying a box of pastries and a cup of hot coffee. he could smell the aroma of the coffee and pastries, but he could also smell her. “Sooo f*****g sweet and that body, I might keep her for a while,” Looking up at the sky, “Damn, I do need to head back to my penthouse before the sun comes up.” Shaking his head, this was probably the most frustrating about being a vampire, the time restraints he has.
