The invitation from Severein Pack had arrived two weeks ago—long before I learned that Aria was pregnant.
At the time, Klaus had asked me to come along, saying it would be good for Black Moon’s reputation. Since our pack was still growing, this was an opportunity to make connections with mid-to-large packs worldwide. A chance to strengthen alliances.
It wasn’t a bad idea. In fact, I had already prepared to present my pack’s strengths and future potential, just in case the opportunity arose.
