Aria's POV
Orion and Klaus sat across from me, blinking slowly as I finished my rant.
Finally, after days of arguing, they agreed to let me meet Mandy alone.
Orion knew I could defend myself. He had seen it firsthand, trained with me, and fought beside me. Klaus, on the other hand, still wasn’t convinced. He hesitated, skeptical, so I smirked and challenged him to a duel.
“If you don’t believe me, we can spar,” I said confidently.
Orion chuckled.
“Dude, don’t underestimate her,” he told Klaus. “She can keep up with me in hand-to-hand combat.”
Klaus raised an eyebrow, looking intrigued rather than doubtful. “Is that so?” He grinned. “Then we’ll have to train together soon.”
I rolled my eyes. They always found a way to turn everything into a sparring match.
But I was done waiting.
