Thinking about the guys the way they stared at me was sad they looked so weird at me I didnt like it so i left.

Breathing heavy I signed. " Hey miss where do you want me to drop you?"

"Oh I'm so sorry urmm Wuthering heights do you know there?" I asked.

"Oh yes dont worry will get you there he groaned "good she is unmarked he mumbles.

"What unmarked what you taking about?"

"Oh nothing its just something I was thinking of dont worry."

He looked at me through the rear view mirror staring glances at me it was creeping me out he looked at the road and I stopped looking not saying anything until he took me home. I thanked him, paid what I owned he glanced at my place then me and smirks and leaves I watch him leave and shudder walking to my front door i opened it and gasped the place was trashed blood was on the wall I ran to my mum's room and found her slumped on the chair "Mum mum wake up what happened?"

"Urgh my head" she put her hand behind her head and blood appeared lots of it. "Mum I'm phoning the ambulance ok.

Twenty minutes later ambulance takes mum and me to the emergency room I cry alot thinking.

Doctor comes up to me " Hello I'm your mums doctor Riley We need to take your mum to the operation room there is a bullet lodged in her brain we gonna try and take it out but I warn you we dont know the outcome of the operation will be so bear that in mind ok." I nod too shocked to speak i seat down in the waiting area and watch the time going 1 then 2 hours.

Five hours later the doctor I spoke to before Riley is name I think comes towards me I stand up " Your mums surgery was successful we manage to take the bullet out it missed the spinal cord but we not sure if her memory will be intact." He replied "Thank you dr can I see my mum please."I sobbed.

" Ok but she has been sedated so she won't be able to talk but I hope she will hear you ok."replied the doctor.

" Thank you Dr Riley so much." I replied then followed the dr to mums private room.

Walking into the room seeing mum on a ventilator couldn't stop the tears breaking. Thinking to myself who would hurt my mum like this. Glancing at my mum seeing her head wrapped in bandage I placed my hand in hers and put my head down near her hand whispering I love you mum.

Woke up in the middle of the night to my mum looking at me "mum what happened to you, who did this to you?"

"Honey please be careful who you talk to I love you so much stay away from red eyes dont let them take you away from me I cant lose you to them.

I made a mistake when I was younger dont pay for it too.

I love you so much.....beware of......"my mum gasped as she stopped breathing "MUM MUM WAKE UP PLEASE DONT LEAVE ME PLEASE. WHAT YOU MEAN RED EYES MUM!?"The monitor beeped long meaning it flat lined I screamed for the doctor or nurse pressing the room alarm until I heard running feet. I collapsed on the bed with my mum seeing darkness all around I passed out.

Slowly opening my eyes I looked at the brightly lit ceiling turning my head I realized I was at a hospital wait what happened I suddenly remembered "Mum Mum MUM." I burst our crying couldn't stop. I heard footsteps and my mums dr came in "So glad your up but I'm terribly sorry for your loss."

"WAIT no mum where is she what did you do."

"Remember your mother passed away yesterday"

"What I mean in i was out for that long no it cant be." I sobbed laying my head back on the bed.

K jumped up and removed my catarrh from my arm got of bed "please lay down I will get you your discharge papers and some numbers and address to help with your grieving and refer you to our bereavement counsellor."

"Thank you doctor."I replied.

A few hours later got my discharge papers and got dressed grabbed an apple from my hospital dinner the only edible food as i hate hospital food.

Sitting down outside the hospital I just couldn't bring myself to see my mother one last time especially at the hospital didnt want that last memory to be from a hospital bed.

Getting in my car I drove home in silence and parked the car outside feeling numb and broken I leaned my head down on the steering wheel gripping the edge of the wheel with my fingers.

Exiting my vehicle I looked at my mother's house and flashbacked remembering walking with ma while helping her carry the groceries and her poking her finger on my nose and smiling.

Walking indoors I slipped off my shoes putting on my slippers, ma hating the fact of putting outside shoes in the house.

Smiling with tears in my eyes I grabbed her framed photo of her and me when she went to the funfair tears started streaming down my face I couldn't stop I just hugged the frame yo my chest and slowly dropped off to sleep.

I woke up with my face wet with tears hearing the front door knock I put on my robe headed up the door opening it to front some people from town standing with sorrow look on their faces. "We sorry for your loss your mum helped us out alot and if you need anything dont hesitate to say."

"Thank you it means alot to me I'm just gonna lay down I want to be alone I'm sorry."

"No need rest."

Closing the door I walked to the living room when another knock sounded I walked back to open the door.

"Please I told you I need rest I know you......m" cassie looked up and saw the guys standing there "What."trying to shut the door in their faces but one of the guys had his foot in the door.

Giving up I walked to the sofa and plonked myself down placing my hands over my face and looking up to see them still staring at me "Why did you leave?" Asked Steve.

"Seriously that's all your worried about while I was getting wasted with you my mum was shot in the head and died get the f**k out all of you." I sobbed.

"I'm so sorry babe."steve calmly replied.

I laid down on the sofa just needed to stop my head from spinning "it hurts." I moaned feeling a hand on my head sent a tingling sensation through me looking up I saw a guy staring at me I gasped then a voice I recognised said "Dont be scared we are family this is Adam "Hey Adam nice to meet you thank you for touching my head your hands worked wonders." I noticed a change in Adam's face looked like he was smirking.

"Need to be alone please." running upstairs and slamming my bedroom door sobbing I leaned my head against the door falling to the floor and closed my eyes.
