Resist

"Resist, huh?" Roku stands at one of the flowers that can make a shower water. He washed himself before Ilisha found out what happened to her Mama.

As Roku washed himself a warm embrace he felt behind him.

"Are you really awake, Sayasha?"

"Yeah. Roku, sorry for acting like that earlier. I already give you mine but deep inside of me, I ask myself if this is the real me."

Roku just sighed and faced her. "You are a shy wife, huh? Then let's take more time to know more about each other."

Sayasha smiled at the same time and nodded.

"But we already sleep in one bed."

Sayasha pinched his side belly, hitting weakly his chest with her head. And Roku didn't waste this chance to pat her. "We might be strangers to each other but we are already more than that, Sayasha."

"Roku..."

Before Ilisha caught them, Roku went back into the room first to change his clothes while Sayasha left to remove the strong smell between her thighs.

The day came, the sun giving light on the house. While in the kitchen Roku helped Sayasha cut the leftover meat from last night.

"You are good at cutting, Roku."

"But this is still a mystery. I forget the last time I held a knife to cook from me. But staying with you, I remember everything."

The two chat for a while while preparing the breakfast. After the basic preparation, they put it in the pot and wait to cook.

Roku sat next to Sayasha as they watched the pot on fire.

Sayasha suddenly turned to Roku as his hand held her. "I'm living in my dream. Cooking with my wife for our daughter is one of my dreams. Sayasha, once again, thank you."

Sayasha just rested her head on Roku's shoulder.

"Mama, where is pa-----" Ilisha halted for seconds, her drowsiness suddenly vanished after seeing Roku's

Seeing how sweet her Mama and Papa were, Ilisha just stepped backward quietly. Just glancing she knew what happened between them. Ilisha giggled as she left them. The dream of seeing her Mama's smile was not a dream anymore, her loneliness would disappear.

"Ilisha." A small little fairy, wearing a cotton leaf dress appeared on Ilisha's shoulder, leaning on her neck.

"Krinia, what are you doing here?"

"You promised the other day we would play until night but you didn't arrive. So we are worried that you forget us."

"Sorry, Krinia, then let's play to the fullest today."

Ilisha happily walked while chatting with little fairy Krinia. Informing the games for today.

"But your mother will be alone again today."

"Don't worry, I have papa now. And soon, I have a sister."

The little fairy gasped for seconds.

After recovering from the shock, she flew, pulling Ilisha's cheek. "A-are y-you s-sure Ilisha?" Krinia stuttered but Ilisha just responded smiled and dashed off, leaving Krinia in the air. "The Goddess of Kayamiza. Goddess Sayasha Kayamiza h-had new baby? This is big news for everyone living in this forest." Krinia smirked as she schemed something.

On the other hand, in the kitchen Roku got up to wake Ilisha, the breakfast was almost complete. "I'll be back, Sayasha."

"I'll wait for you two here, Roku."

Sayasha already accepted him, there's no need for time to know each other.

Roku didn't know but Sayasha peeked at his memory and she knew what kind of person he was, what his capabilities and weaknesses were.

When Roku was gone, Sayasha sat on the chair, scooping soup with meat in a pot resting on the middle of the table.

"Loyalty, huh? Roku, thank you."

"Sayasha!" Roku came back looking distressed. "I-Ilisha, my daughter is gone in her bed!"

Sayasha's eyes widened creating a faint laugh. "R-Roku..."

"What is funny? My daughter is gone!"

"There's nothing funny, Roku come here and sit with me. And don't ask just come here."

Sayasha was not that much worried. And when Roku remembers how strong Ilisha is, he takes a deep breath and calms himself. "Sorry, I just worried about her." Roku began walking and sat across Sayasha.

"Here, let's start eating. She might come back tonight."

"I don't understand but I will trust you. Ilisha is already my daughter and I will be her father."

"When you came back as you are not afraid to sprint in the middle of a war it made me happy. Your care to my daug----"

"Our daughter!"

A dazzling smile formed on Sayasha's lips, almost cried. "Yeah, our daughter.... Roku, let's eat before it gets cold."

They began eating together, a morning he wanted to see. Right now Roku can see and feel the feelings of eating with someone and this someone is his wife. The joy he was experiencing was unmatched.

After minutes of eating, Roku helps Sayasha to clean the mess and wash the dishes.

"By the way, Sayasha. I heard you have lived here with Ilisha for years."

"Yeah, it's been years. But before that, Roku helped me to gather herbs."

"Herbs? I remember I woke up from the scent of herbs when I first came here, so what are you doing with Herbs?"

"Just follow me."

After cleaning the mess, Sayasha brought Roku to the wooden gate and went outside the house. As Roku followed Sayasha, he noticed the calming humm she was making as she enjoyed her walk.

"Sayasha."

"Hm?"

"I came here without knowledge or idea what is this place. So...."

Sayasha pauses for a second, turning to her back. "Sorry, Roku. But asked Ilisha she knows a lot compared to me." And she starts walking again. 'All I know is nightmare.' Sayasha said to herself.

Roku just follows Sayasha's step until they reach the vast land forest, filled with giant trees. On its root, there's a kind of creeping green plant. And Sayasha asked Roku to pick the leaf of it,

"Roku, be careful. The matured leaf might burn your hand or turn into ashes."

"That's scary, Sayasha." Because of her warning, Roku kept asking her every time he cut the leaf. Sayasha just laughed, she couldn't focus on her work. So she decided to teach Roku what is mature and not. Minutes of teaching him Roku quickly learned the technique.

When the leaf has a small dark spot, it will swallow him by the dark. While red, fire, and so on. If the leaf was pure green that was the right one for medicine.

A quiet place as they gather herbs.

"We got a lot."

"Yeah, so what are we going in this leaves, Sayasha?"

"Potion or tea. But we will use this as tea. To make your sleep more comfortable."

"Then, let's go back."

"Yeah, I need to wash my clothes."

A place where he can stay more alone with her. Roku passes this idea to him but he ignores it after seeing the smile on Sayasha's face. Sayasha suddenly let go of the basket filled with leaves she was holding when an embrace behind her wrapped hers.

She's strong but light. Roku didn't understand how this light body killed the dragon instantly. He princess carries her, bringing her back to their home.

On the other hand, in the open area, Ilisha lying on her back on the ground, surrounded by colorful flowers. "Liria, where is Krinia? She hasn't arrived yet?"

"Ilisha, just stay here. Let's wait for her."

In the eyes of a normal human, there is just a child lying. But for someone who had strength, a dangerous child surrounded by fairies, flying around in the sky. And some cute fluffy animals.

"She's the one who said we will play but she's not here."

"She might take a long way so she's late. But it's really strange. She's the one who couldn't sit her butt just to see and play with you, but right now she's not here. Little Ili, did you say something to her before coming here?"

Ilisha lifted her head, roaming her eyes. "No! I just told her I have Papa now, and then I ran. But she sta----- I might..." Ilisha quickly got up after remembering the important word she said.

"She will die, Krinia is in danger."

"Why, little Ili? Te-----"

Fast like a wind, Ilisha goes back to her home to find Krinia.

While the little Krinia they waiting was inside Sayasha's room, hiding behind the plant hanging near the window. But she's not alone, she has a comrade. "S-Sister Krinia, w-what are we doing here."

"Shhh, don't be scaredy-coward Liz. I told you, we need to see Goddess Sayasha's husband. If he is not worthy we will get rid of him."

"B-But, if G-Goddess Sayasha saw us, s-she will kill us."

"You are really wimpy. Goddess Sayasha will not hurt us fairies, she's protecting this forest. And we are the one ----"

"What are you two doi----- This is bad, this is really bad."

It's getting bad. Ilisha caught them however, Sayasha and Roku came back. And Ilisha quickly hid under the bed and the two fairies hid with her. "Ilisha, why are you hiding? This is your own home."
