Faith entered a nearby restaurant to clear her head. Though the thoughts of Victoria were still playing in her head. “Who is she really? Why did she come to me?” Question kept running in her head with no one to answer them. She called out to the waitress “get me a glass of orange juice, with some shrimp” The waitress nodded. Faith's eyes wandered around the room, her gaze met Lydia who was sitting at a far corner of the table. Her hands were trembling on the table, she looked so agitated, she was repeatedly checking her phone. “Why is she here? Why does it seem like she is meeting someone? Why are her hands shaking” Faith stood up from the table she was sitting, she went to the corner that was kind of close to where Lydia was sitting but she won't be able to see faith. She started picking her shrimp, eating slowly, observing what was going to happen and why is Lydia sitting here looking so threatened. The whole place was noisy. Victoria walked in her steps were elegant, she was wearing a coat with a hat, with hair flowing. “She look so Georgous” “Seems like an angel just descended” Everyone was praising her beauty. Faith lifted her head to see who was taking all the attention. Her eyes met with Victoria, and she flashed a beautiful smile. “ Isn't she the lady from the store, why is she here?” Her spine straightened slightly. She looked at where she was heading to and Victoria dropped her bag in front of Lydia. Faith set down her juice quietly. Faith used her face cap with a nose mask to cover her face very well so she won't be noticed by Lydia. Victoria sat down, slowly removing her sunglasses. Lydia's face turned red, her heart began to race. “Hey, little sis” Lydia did not respond; she was just staring at Victoria. “No greeting, Don't you miss me sis” Lydia didn't say a word, she didn't know when tears rolled down her cheek. Faith was just sitting there confused “why is she crying all of a sudden” Victoria stretched her hand to touch Lydia. The touch triggered something. A memory that lived in the body not the mind. *Flash Back* “You have to take care of your sister Victoria,” her mom cried. Their house was on fire. “Mom you can make it, come out please” Lydia cried. Her dad was still inside. Victoria and Lydia cried as the house blew up, they watched their parents die in their eyes. January 2nd 2008 on the day of Lydia's parents ' burial. The two girls were standing in front of two coffins. Their eyes swallowed from crying. Lydia was still 7 years old and Victoria was 17 years old. They gave their last speech and their parents were laid to rest. *days later * Victoria was parking her clothes. Lydia reached out to Victoria's hands. “Sis, where are you going?” She asked with a broken heart and voice. Victoria pushed her a way “ I can't not take care of you” “But you promised mom, why now, are you leaving me here” “You are old enough to survive. People do it every day” Lydia began to cry, her heart was shattered into a million pieces. She watched as Victoria entered the car, the car disappeared into thin air. Then her knees gave out and she sat down in the empty road and cried until there was nothing left. *Back to present* Lydia pulled her hands away immediately. Lydia's voice dropped dangerously low and sharp. “What do you want? Why are you here?” Victoria was quiet. “You left me alone, you left me with nothing, you disappeared for years, and why last did I see you, and now you are back” Victoria did not Finch, she does not apologize, just tilts her head slightly the way a person does when they are completely unmoved by what Lydia was saying. “What's your aim of coming back, what do you need exactly” “Don't worry sis, I know what I'm here for and I will do it before going back” “What do you mean?” “Watch your self little sister, that man you are holding tight- he is not loyal as you think, and I won't mind” “You won't dare” “Do not get emotional little sis, you and I know that I always get what I want. That changed nothing” “You won't be coming for him right, he is not yours” “Nothing is your Lydia, you are just holding onto what's not yours” Lydia's eyes dropped, this is the first time Victoria is calling her by her name not little sis anymore. Lydia's chair scraps back. Her voice broke not from sadness but from the range she had been swallowing all these years. “I survived without you, I built myself without you. Don't come back here and think you can control me. Victoria only smiled. “You are still the same as I left you still broken and foolish” Faith was taken note of everything. “This did not happen in my past life” she filed that away carefully. “She is more broken than I thought, and broken people are the most dangerous enemies or useful allies” Victoria stood up smoothly, straightening her jacket. “We will talk again sis” She looked at Lydia one last time before going out, without looking back. Lydia sat alone, tears burning down not falling. Faith got up, she walked quietly to where Lydia was sitting. Her voice came out gently. “Are you okay” Lydia did not say a word. Then. “She always does this come and scattered everything and go back again” “Who is she?” Lydia wiped her face “why are you putting on a mask?” “I have a cough” faith lies between her teeth. “She is my sister”. Victoria, the lady from the store, the dangerous smile, the soft voice, the one that walked all caught all attention on her. Was Lydia's sister. She never told me, not once not twice, even in her first life Lydia never mentioned that she has a sister. She is always saying she is an orphan with no family and now she has a sister. Faith smiled. This changes everything.
