Livia POV
Darkness, something I have always known. It’s not like I was abused or anything just always alone. My parents work in the major town near the village and they stay there during the week and sometimes the weekend. I may see them on occasion but very rarely. One thing is nice, they do try to call me every night or try to FaceTime me. Wait, what time is it? I don’t recall getting a phone call or anything from them. Oh god, with that thought I shot right up and looked around. Wait, this isn’t my room. The bed was king size, with dark sheets. I couldn't see the color because it was so dark. And everything in the room looks nothing like my belongings. Oh god what happened? The last thing I remember was talking to Christ, Maggie, and Tristen then it went all black. Wait Tristen kissed me. Oh god and then I passed out, but where am I?
Just as I was having a panic attack I heard footsteps coming closer to the room. Nope I am not going to see who it is. I jumped up thinking about jumping out the window until I looked outside. God that’s a 10 foot drop. Okay guess I’m facing the truth. The door opens and here walks in Tristen looking towards the bed until he stops dead in his tracks. He raised his glaze at me, shocked and then smiled. “Well good to see you awake.” Said Tristen. I just blushed and looked down. What this boy does to me. He walked over and lifted my face up by my chin and I saw his gorgeous eyes and felt little tingles in my face with his contact. He just looked at me and smiled again. “Well if my kiss makes you pass out each time I could get used to carrying you”. He said. “If it wasn’t for the fact I don’t even know you other than your name I wouldn’t have passed out” I argue. He started chuckling at that.
“We will have to change that because from this point on your mine” Tristen said like it was the most obvious thing in the world. My eyes widened at what he just said. “Oh by the way my mom and dad want to meet you” with his saying that my legs went weak. I never had a boyfriend let alone an actual close friend. So, meeting parents was never a problem, but now I magically have a boyfriend and I’m meeting the parents all in the same night. Then it clicked I needed to still call my parents. “W-what time is it?” I asked in the softest voice I could come up with. “Almost midnight,” he replied. My face turned pale, I started looking for my phone but I couldn’t find it. “Um d-do you know where my phone is? My parents probably have called and blown up my phone trying to figure out why I’m not answering.” I told him. I don’t need to tell him everything. “Oh um I’ll have to get you a new one. When you passed out your phone fell out of your pocket and then rolled down the hill. Christ went to get it and brought it back in pieces.” He told me while rubbing the back of his head. Yep my parents are going to kill me. “Can I borrow yours?” I asked nicely. “Sure,” he replied.
“Yes mom I understand.”….. “No mom you do not have to give up your dream job to watch me”…….. “Yes mom, hey mom I’m going to stay at a friend's house tonight.”…… “His name is Tristen and yes you can talk to his parents” I handed the phone to his mom. Remembering I haven’t even said hi to them yet. She walked into another room to talk to my mother while I sat here awkwardly with Tristen and his dad. “Hey Livia this is my dad James and my mom you just handed the phone to is Kat.” Tristen introduced them. I shook his dad's hand and told him nice to meet you. We all listened to the phone conversation until she hung up. Kat walked out to us and said “You better thank me now because she is allowed to stay with us. They also wanted me to ask if you wanted to move in” Kat said out of the blue. “Did she really?” I question that because it doesn’t sound like my parents. “No they didn't, well you can stay tonight because it’s late, but moving in wasn’t in the conversation.” She chuckled. I can already see that I’m going to love Tristen’s mom. “So with that being said, I think we should all call it a night. Tristen, can you show Livia to her room please?” James said not really leaving room for a no. “Of course,” He replied. As they leave, a big smile appears in front of his face. “So, do you want to stay with me in my room?” He asked. Well at least he asked and it is a sleep over and I wouldn’t mind cuddling up with him. “Sure, as long as nothing else happens besides sleeping.” I said firmly. I didn’t think this kid could smile bigger as he said “of course my Princess.”
