Becca slowly opened her eyes, only to find herself alone on the bed. She sat up, rubbing her eyes in confusion, looking around the room with bleary eyes for the Alpha Gonzales. It wasn't like him to leave her in the bed alone in the morning.
As she fumbled with the sheets, she felt a sense of unease and worry wash over her. She had slept with Gonzales all throughout the night, she had comforted him to sleep. She had hoped to find solace in the comforting arms of her mate, but he was nowhere to be found.
She finally heard a door open and footsteps approach their bedroom. Alpha Gonzales walked in, already dressed and looking handsome in his well-tailored suit. He smiled at her, a mix of adoration and excitement in his expression, before pulling her in for a tight embrace.
"Good morning, my love," he said, his voice velvety smooth but the eagerness evident in his tone. "I have a surprise for you today."
Becca raised an eyebrow, the worry quickly dissipating as she saw the glee on his face. "What kind of surprise?"
"We're going to see the seer today. I want us to find out what kind of child we're going to have."
Becca gasped in delight, her worries now replaced with excitement. She had always wanted to visit the seer, but their busy schedules and the chaos of the war had prevented them from doing so.
"Today?" she asked, barely containing her excitement.
Alpha Gonzales nodded, his smile widening. "Yes, today. I already made the arrangements. You should get ready quickly, we don't want to keep the seer waiting."
Becca couldn't help but smile at the eager expression on her mate's face. It was a rare occurrence to see him this excited, and it made her heart swell with pride for him. She quickly got up, feeling her stomach flip with anticipation.
She searched her wardrobe for a while, finally settling on a simple but elegant dress that would cover her growing bump. She had grown quite self-conscious of her changing body in the past few weeks, but Alpha Gonzales had assured her that she was beautiful no matter what.
As she stepped out of the bathroom, she saw that Alpha Gonzales was already waiting for her, holding out her coat to her with a smile.
"Shall we go, my love?" he asked, his hand outstretched to help her up.
Becca hurriedly made her way down the stairs of her pack's mansion, anxiously looking around for her mate, Alpha Gonzales. She was nervously rubbing her hands together, the anticipation too much for her to handle. They were going to visit the seer to inquire about the type of baby she was going to have, and Becca couldn't wait to find out.
As she stepped out of the mansion's door, she saw a sleek black car parked in front of her, and her mate in the driver's seat. She quickly walked towards the car and got in, her heart beating wildly in her chest.
"Are you excited?" Alpha Gonzales asked, turning to look at her with a smirk on his face.
Becca nodded eagerly, managing to let out a breathless, "Yes!" before the car started moving.
As they drove through the streets of their pack, Becca couldn't help but fidget nervously in her seat. She could feel the weight of Alpha Gonzales' gaze on her, his eyes monitoring her every move.
"Relax, Becca," he said, his voice low and soothing. "Everything is going to be alright. The seer is never wrong."
Becca nodded again, still too nervous to speak.
After a few more minutes of driving, Alpha Gonzales pulled up to a small, nondescript building on the outskirts of the pack's territory. Becca's heart pounded in her chest as she followed her mate inside.
Finally, they arrived, stepping out of the car and walking towards the house. It was a serene little cottage, set amongst a lush garden, and Becca felt her heart swell with excitement as they walked towards the door.
The seer appeared, a tall, regal woman with deeply lined skin that spoke of wisdom and age. She welcomed them with a warm embrace, patting Becca's stomach fondly.
"So, you want to know what kind of child you're having?" she asked, her voice laced with curiosity.
The seer was an elderly woman who had been living in the pack for as long as anyone could remember. She was wise and kind, and her words were always treated with the utmost respect and reverence.
As they entered her small house, the seer looked up and greeted them with a smile.
"Welcome, my children," she said, her voice soft and gentle. "What brings you here today?"
Alpha Gonzales stepped forward, his shoulders squared and his expression serious. "We have come to inquire about the type of baby my mate is going to have," he said.
The seer nodded, her eyes sliding towards Becca. "Come here, child," she said, beckoning to her.
Gonzales nodded eagerly, his eyes bright with anticipation.
The seer led them to a small room, filled with sage and sandalwood smoke. She sat down, gesturing for Becca and Alpha Gonzales to sit as well.
Becca stepped forward slowly, her heart thudding in her chest.
The seer placed a hand on her stomach, closing her eyes in concentration.
After a few moments, she opened her eyes and looked directly at Becca. "You are going to have a baby boy," she said, her voice filled with certainty.
Becca gasped, her hands flying to her stomach. "A boy?" she repeated, her voice barely above a whisper.
The seer nodded, a smile spreading across her face. "Yes, my child. A strong, healthy baby boy."
Becca turned to Alpha Gonzales, her eyes wide with joy. He pulled her into his arms, holding her close as they both breathed a sigh of relief.
As they made their way back to the mansion, Becca couldn't stop smiling, her heart filled with happiness and excitement for the future.
Thanks to the seer's words, she now knew that their pack would be blessed with a strong and powerful heir, and she couldn't wait to meet him.
They stepped out of their rooms, hand in hand, making their way to the garage where the Alpha's chauffeur was waiting for them. Becca enjoyed the drive, watching the city go by in a blur around them as they made their way to the seer's house on the outskirts of the city.
She held out her hand, beckoning Becca to place her palm over hers. Becca did so, feeling a sense of warmth spread through her fingers.
The seer's eyes fluttered shut, and she sat there for a moment, lost in concentration. Finally, she opened her eyes and looked directly at Alpha Gonzales.
"You're going to have a son," the seer said, a sense of finality lacing her tone.
Alpha Gonzales gasped, his eyes widening with excitement. He turned to Becca, a wide grin on his face.
"A son! We're going to have a son," he exclaimed, his voice barely containing his excitement.
The seer nodded, a faint smile playing on her lips. "Yes, a son. And he will be great. Your pack will prosper under his rule."
Becca felt tears well up in her eyes, feeling a sense of pride and joy fill her being. She couldn't believe it. A son. Their son.
As they left the seer's house, Alpha Gonzales couldn't contain his excitement. He held Becca close, whispering sweet nothings in her ear, promising to be the best father to their son. Becca felt a sense of peace settle over her.
She knew that whatever the future held for them, they would be ready. They would raise their son to be the best version of himself, just like his father. And they would rule their pack with love and compassion, just like they had always done.
As they made their way back home, their hearts filled with joy and love, Becca felt a sense of contentment. She knew that whatever life threw their way, they would be ready to face it - together, as a family.
