So his words right in front of the councils were fake, his 'I do' was just on his tongue, not heartfelt.

I feel stupid!

I should have known better than to trust a man who looks like he was joking while doing a lifetime commitment.

He doesn't want me yet he tricked me into his man and not even claiming me like a normal human being but thrusting inside me like his newly possessed s*x doll.

He isn't acting like a half-human but a full animal. Even wolves don't act like this.

He used even the energy I had and I felt empty.

Before I faint, I heard him speaking to someone I didn't get to see the person's face or voice before giving up.

"I'm done here, she is so weak and couldn't even withstand my third time. Well, make her understand the difference between a chosen mate and a rejected one!" He said and I heard his footstep and I could tell he was leaving the room.

"How can we allow a man who can even find his mate successfully seat on the throne of our alpha? Things are not done like that!" I heard a deep harsh voice yelling inside the hall.

And I could tell the irresponsible elders that have always found fault in all I do since I became an alpha instead of my cousin they have always wanted.

Being an unwanted alpha is harder than I thought and this is exhausting for me.

"We have to reject him as our alpha, Richard is better than him. How can a wireless alpha rule us with a sane mind?" Another elder said and I guessed it was no other person but.

He doesn't even filter his words and it makes him look stupid to me all the time.

I was pissed at all to hear them as they were saying the truth. I need a mate. My wife. Someone who can support me in every decision I make.

"We should act irrational, you all know no mate-searching party was done for him and he didn't even catch girls like the crazy Richard all of you love.

The only woman in the council.

She is always against others as she is the smartest. I like her the most as she reason in the same direction as myself.

"Don't support him!" Elder Jo's voice responded aloud and I was pissed.

I don't understand why he is on one council! Well I think every council neeneedse most stupid one so we can know how our plans are nice if they are against it

"Okay, should I support a man who can decide that he wants to sleep with all my daughters in a day? Or a man might decide to kill anyone who doesn't follow his rules.

Come on, we should see further than the smiles and gifts!" She countered and there was silence.

I didn't want to interrupt their discussion but the silence made it the best time for me to walk in.

And they were quite shocked to see me.

I walked slowly and majestically to my seat and made every step I take get heavier in their heart and allowed their conscience to judge them.

"Good day, my elders!" I said as soon as I landed myself on the seat. They all look disorganized except for Miss Bellamy.

Well, serve them right, they have other places to make such discussion, why will they come under my very nose to make such disgusting comments?

They all stood up and have their greetings to their alpha. H

"I can see we are all in the mood to have a very serious discussion about the current state of emergency I declared in the northern part of the land," I said, and they all looked at each other.

No one had a thing or two to say. Even Mrs. Bellamy was quiet.

"What is wrong? Is there no observation?" I asked and Mrs. Bellamy adjusted her seat position and looked around at everyone's faces before giving her comment.

"Alpha, I understand that the northern part has been rebellious and they are on the verge of breaking themselves but the use of the state of emergency is nice.

But thinking about what this longevity of the state of emergency might cause. This northern part is our main focus of good production. No matter the internal battles. They never fail to work together on the farm.

And the state of emergency is too much and the food production will be affected on their side. I don't think we will want that to happen!" She said and I thought about it, it makes a lot of sense

I forgot the most troublesome part of the land is those that are the most productive.

"So what do you think is the best we do? I am quite fed up with the people's character. They will never cease to see the reason to fight daily!

I have sent two council members to them and yet there are no changes.

"It seems the elders are no longer respected since they have been doing a few things wrong in their closet or they might even be the ones instigating the bad behavior of the people!" Mrs. Bellamy said and you could tell who she was referring to.

"What do you mean? We are highly respected people and why on earth will instigate the northern part of the land to fight every time!" The northern elder said.

"The people decide to act according to what they want, how should we be judged for that? Or do you just want us to look like bad people in the sight of Our alpha!" Elder Steve said

Deep down, I could not help but think the way Mrs Bellamy thought. There is absolutely nothing this bald bearded man can't do.

"Bellamy, don't you ever say those flirty words out of your mouth. The northern part of the land decides to be rebellious, that's it, don't bring us into the discussion ever again." Elder Mai who had been quiet decided to voice out.

He looked pissed off.

But why??

"Why are you so pissed though?" Mrs. Bellamy asked slowly and calmly like she was intentionally making him get mad by the minute.

"And you are this calm when accusing your fellow member of the council. Did you catch any of us doing that kind of rubbish before?" Elder Mai yelled again and this time he was pushed to stand on his feet and closer to Mrs. Bellamy like he was so eager to beat her up.

"Shut it and sit down!" I yelled after seeing that the tension in the room was boiling.

"Aren't you guys ashamed?" I said and Elder Mai went back and sat down and they all looked at me quietly.

"Northern elder, I am still shocked that you didn't feel sad that in the zone you are leading, so much trouble keeps surfacing daily. You are still proud of the rubbish that keeps happening to the point that you can argue right before me.

Look at you two, elder Mai and Elder Steve. I sent you out to the northern part of the land not once and not twice but what is the result?

The situation of their civil quarrel that turned into war over there didn't change, rather it became more dangerous day in, day out. And you are still happy enough to come into this court hall to argue with me about your respect.

Do you think you still have respect over there? No, you don't. Because if you do, the civil crisis would have stopped by now. So shut up and accept all I have to say.

Seriously, I think I will also have you men investigated as I can't be sure if you don't have hands in all that is happening over there.

If this is one of the ways to get me to step down, you have failed, terribly to be precise." I said and they were all scared.

I was proud of making them remember who I am to them.

I said and their facial expressions changed. They need a push like that.

Elder mai stood up immediately and yelled.

"Alpha, that is not possible, we have been in power since the reign of your grandfather. So you can't do something like that to us!" He said and I laughed.

"You seem to have forgotten who i am , my elder mai!" I said and stood up immediately and I could tell my eye color changed because they all fell to the floor and were scared and shaking.

"I am the alpha here!" I yelled at them.

I knew definitely that the anger in me was heightened by the word of the elder. They sure know how to call upon the beast.

"We are sorry, Alpha Callum. We were so scared and that caused one of us to open his stinking mouth and utter a very wrong statement. Forgive us!"

Mrs Bellamy said and my anger began to reduce.

"I am sorry, aloba, I overstepped my boundary and I will accept any punishment given to me. I am so sorry, forgive me my lord. Pardon my stupidity."

Elder Mai said and I sat down back.

"It's very nice to see you accept your stupidity and I won't want any of you to interrupt me till I am done here," I said and they nodded and bowed twice again.

"Sit down!" I commanded and they obeyed instantly.

"Okay, as you can see, a new law has been passed out and I won't want to have you men replaced but if you wish to retire early. So be it.

I will be attending to the northern issues and their state of emergency. I think they need to witness the anger of their alpha once in a while.

I am tired of hearing about them again and again and I seriously wonder if they have an active leader in their zone.

Well, elder Mai, I will send you over to the north to prepare a space that I can stay in for two days and that is not a budget I will make. So all expenses will be on you.

This is your punishment as requested. And if you also want to voice against that. I will be waiting patiently to have your title snatched away from you." I said and he bowed accepting his punishment wholehearted

"Mrs Bellamy, I want you to see to an issue. Take active men with you and let them explore any part of land that can grow crops other than the north.

And if any of the leaders of the zone is not supportive. Report directly to my quarter. I am not my father who is bowing you to. I am your leader.

I have shown you love but I think you want my head. And I won't take that for any of you." I said and Mrs Bellamy stood up and bowed before me.

"I willingly take the assignment and I will give it all my energy and the best! " She said and I nodded.

"Do any of you have anything whatsoever to say?" I asked and they all looked at each other, not daring to voice out.

Mrs Bellamy stood up again and bowed before looking up and talking.

"Alpha, I appreciate the effort you have spent on this land, the love you have and the care you have shown to us. You are the best ruler ever. Well, since the gods have used you to build this great nation. We think it is time for you to be selfish and build yourself, your home.

This is a great concern of the council. The alpha can't be without a Luna for so long. We don't want our land to be mocked for having just one wing.

The land needs a Luna, you need a Luna. You can't keep surviving and fighting alone. You also need support, someone you can roll into at night and someone who will make your life longer.

"Alpha Callum! What do we do regarding the problems faced in the eastern region!" Elder Steve asked and I chuckled and looked at him.

" Finally, you want an audience on a matter after how many years? I asked and he looked down.

"What is it with teb eastern region?" I asked and he sat up properly and started talking.

"The eastern regions still don't have a very good water supply. We have been suffering for some time now and I think I should bring it to your notice to see the situation" he said and I felt like laughing.

"Really, I should see to it? How many years has the water supply gone low, elder Steve?" I asked and he looked around and stammered before answering me.

"Well, for three years now!" He said and I laughed.

"So, now, you just remembered my people are suffering in the east and I should see to it after I made a law that might affect you?" I said and he looked down so guilty.

"I addressed the issue when it broke out first, I am not dumb. I can remember perfectly and who is meant to make the water supply smooth? From whose region is the water supply coming from? Answer me elder Steve!" I said and he looked at elder Mai who was trying to tell him not to expose them.

After a little struggle between the two, elder Steve decided to say something again.

"That's true sir, this topic has been discussed before but the supply wasn't activated." He said and I stared at him.

"Who was assigned to that duty?" I asked and they all looked at each other.

"It is Richard! Your cousin!" Elder Jo! Said and I glanced at him. "Thank you, Elder Jo, for reminding me that the subject mentioned is my cousin.

I am sorry to cut your dreams short. I will treat things differently. He is a contractor now, someone assigned and paid to carry out a duty but won't do that.

I don't care if the Richard in question is my cousin or my brother or my best friend. He has done the bad thing and he will surely be served the reward of his actions.

"Alpha! It's my past now!" He said and fell to the ground on his knee.

" It's good to be very sorry, but something can't be left unpunished so I will give you just a little punishment for your past. As you said, it's the past already!" I said that others were scared for him.

"The next three years, you will cover all the expenses of the eastern region on water and you, elder Steve.

I said and immediately elder Steve fell to the ground.

If you don't keep to your limit. I might as well give you another limit!" I said and the two bow their heads.

"This meeting has been dismissed. Bye bye!" I said and walked out.

I felt accompanied with the little I showed to those ungrateful bald men. I wonder why they were all chosen into the council. Sometimes they are annoying, sometimes theya re dumb.
