Maxwell's POV.
The airy sound of my banging head was all I could hear. My hands hitched upon my ears in fear and shock as I staggered heading to the car parked right in front of the estate. I couldn't yet totally believe how easily Tanisha could send me off. My heart ached with the thoughts of never coming to see her again or having her.
I snarled angrily and spoke the code words to my guys. The car lock snapped open and jumped hastily into the car.
"Boss, are you okay?" Ross asked, turning his head from the car towards my direction to check up on me.
"Get us out of here now!" I snarled, my voice coming out in an angry growl.
"Right away." The one driving said and instantly turned the car, reversing as we drove off heading back to town.
