I glanced at my wristwatch. It's almost eleven in the evening but the people here seem to not notice it. I excused myself from the table where my family and a few alphas and lunas were seated and went out of the hall. I strut to one of the empty leather sofas and sit down.  Deep breaths escaped my mouth. I am really not a fan of things like this. It's draining me of energy, not literally, but mentally.
