Elle’s POV
Tatlong araw matapos ang press con, natanggap ko ang tawag mula sa Velmilk PR head.
“Miss Elle, we’re so sorry… but we’ll have to terminate the contract.” Hindi agad ako nagsalita. Mapupurnada ang plano ko at hindi ko maisagawa ang balak kong alamin ang totoo.
“I understand. But it’s not my fault. It was Velmorez who breached the contract. As per the agreed, either I will finish or not the endorsement, magbabayad pa rin sila sa damages na ginawa niya. Am I right?” Hindi agad siya nakapagsalita kaya napangiti ako. Uubusin ko ang yaman ng isang Velmorez.
“It’s not because of you,” mabilis niyang dugtong. “It’s the scandal Mr. Velmorez is stepping down from board control, but the investors are panicking.” Lalo akong napangisi. Umaayos pa rin sa plano ko ang pagbagsak ni Zach.
