“Why don’t you take Regi with you?” Joss asked, she was watching Kris get ready for her lunch with Alexi. “She can keep safe.”
“I don’t need a chaperone, sis.” Kris laughed. “I’ll be okay, it’s lunch, and I want to see if we can be friends.” She shrugged. “If this is a flop, at least I’ll know I tried. She doesn’t have friends, so if I can be one to her again, I want to try.”
“She doesn’t have friends, because she treats the people, she ‘cares about’ like crap,” Joss said.
