Once we arrived back at Declan’s place we made our way upstairs. I stopped in front of my room and turned to face Declan, not sure where we went from there.
“I hope you don’t mind, but since we are mates I had your stuff moved to my room. Or should I say our room.”
Smiling back at him, I placed my hand in his. “I don’t mind. I actually like waking up next to you.”
He pulled me flush to him. “As do I love.” He didn’t hesitate to press his lips on mine.
Once we were in our room, I changed into a pair of shorts and one of Declan’s shirts. Stepping out of the bathroom, I could’t help but feel inadequate. I’m sure Declan had been with plenty of women and I had only just been kissed.
