Alyssa was visibly nervous about what the night held for us. I guess this was partly because of the way that we had been arguing lately, and maybe she was afraid that this night would end in the same way. However, I had a plan for the night and I had planned this night intentionally, knowing that I wanted it to be a successful night. I wanted to use this day and night as an opportunity to make things right between us and all I could do was pray that nothing went wrong tonight. Alyssa seemed unsure of why we were even there, but I could understand why she would be feeling like that. A lot had happened between us, and she wasn't sure if trusting me was a good idea.
