After school Anna and I exchanged numbers, it appeared that it had rained for a little while we were at school so the parking lot was filled with puddles of water and it was impossible to walk without stepping into one. I loved the smell of the ground after it had rained, it was refreshing and made me feel closer to mother nature.
As I walked into my car Liam sped past me splashing me with water on my clothes and my face. I looked at his car as it passed in disbelief, how could he do that to me wasn’t it enough that he had rejected me now he seemingly also wanted to ensure that I didn’t enjoy my days at school.
