Third person POV: The world actually does not send messengers the way gods do to us. It does not choose omen or carve words into the sky. It does not announce meaning with thunder or light. When it answers, it does so indirectly—through repetition, through coincidence, through the quiet way the same story begins to surface in different mouths across different roads. By the time anyone realizes something is happening, it has already been happening for a while. In the southern ports, the story spreads first among fishermen. They speak of two travelers who walked the docks without asking for anything, who listened more longer than they spoke, and who didn’t promise protection but reminded people where the old currents still ran.
