Chapter 8

Savannah POV

I burst into Daniels office; his Dad his Mum and my mum all jump into their defence modes. They all look at me with concern etched on their faces Daniel is the first to approach me; it's then I realise I need to say something.

'Alpha David! He killed Dad the rogue'. I stutter out, I think I'm still in shock

'Baby calm down you aren't making sense'. I take a deep breath ; Daniel hugs me.

'Sorry I will explain'.

Daniel Pov

I don't understand what Savannah is telling me probably because I'm in a state of shock

'I had a vision - I saw him Alpha David he plotted with the rouge; he had my Dad killed he tried to kill my mum just so he could claim me'. I felt Ajax his anger rolled through me l - it was only when I heard my Dad's voice that I was able to reign in Ajax

'Son calm yourself down'.

Suddenly I was getting panicked voices through the mind link

'Rogues have gotten through the boundaries'. I feel my wolf Ajax getting scared and angry, I try to calm him, I look at Savannah and her mum

Suddenly a cannister is thrown through my office window sending glass every where it starts to go off ... Tear gas. We all start coughing trying to find a way out of the office. I try to reach for Savannah I can hear foot steps. My office door swings open

'No Daniel!' I hear Savannah's voice.

As the tear gas subsides I look around the office and quickly realise ..........

Savannah has gone

Savannah POV

I remember being in Daniels office the next thing I knew darkness. I wake up in familiar surroundings I look around the room I feel like I've been here before the door opens and I see Athena my best friend, I know where I am. She has always been there for me I was sad to leave her when I went with my mum. Athena Hasan hour glass figure to make any girl envious; Ebony black hair and the brightest of green eyes, but I couldn't help notice they are tinged with sadness- she is hurting.

'Luna? Are you ok I'm so glad you're back home I've missed you'.

'Luna? Athena you're mistaken I am about to become Alpha Daniel's Luna, you have to get me out of here. Athena listen to me Alpha David he had rogues kill ......'. Before I can finish my sentence the door opens to reveal Alpha David.

David POV.

Finally I got her back! I have to admit I took a huge risk working with those rogues - it's amazing what they will do for money. She will be mine

'You're just kidding yourself she will never be yours. What are you going to do when she finds out you had her Dad killed?' Jason growls at me

'I will get to that if that happens'. I snap back at my wolf; he had been agitated with me- I rejected our one true mate for Savannah.

l walk into her bedroom to find her talking with Athena. I cough to make my presence known Athena jumps up

'Alpha! I will leave you to it'. Athena walks out she gives me that all too familiar look, my wolf wines; Athena is my one true mate she's nice enough a lovely hour glass figure and beautiful brunette hair and bright blues eyes; but I believe the moon goddess made a mistake when she paired her with me I belong with Savannah.

Savannah POV.

Athena leaves us but the way she looks at him; is Alpha David her mate? Then why is he after me?

'Savannah I hope you find your room comfortable I am so glad you're home'. David sits on the edge of my bed

'Alpha David'

'Just David we don't need any formalities here'. He smiles.

Alpha David I have a home and I have a mate'.

David stands up irritated

'No your home is here with me! ' I love you! I would do anything to have you'

'Anything like commit murder!!!!!!!!' I scream.

I punch him square in the face breaking his nose

'You really think you can take me away from my mate and my family. You really think that I would love you. You who stood there watched me and my mum grieve; knowing what you had done?'. I cry angry tears

David POV

I stumble back and hit the bedroom wall. Boy that girl can hit! I hold my nose as it bleeds How did she find out?

'I told you she would find out. You are in your own now. I had nothing to do with this'. Jason retreats laughing

'I will have the last laugh mutt!!'.

Savannah stands at the edge of the bed her arms folded anger radiating off her - damn she looks hot when she is angry

'Savannah baby it's not what it look like I promise'.

'Save it I don't want to hear it!!!!' She sneers. I shift my weight from side to side

'Possibly I was hoping that with your mum and dad out of the way you would come to me for comfort and you could be mine I've always loved and wanted you'.

'How could you?!!!! You betrayed me in the worst possible way. I used to think of you as someone that would never hurt me; that would support me no matter what'. Savannah screams .

I couldn't believe it. If only her Dad had agreed to the union I wouldn't of had to have her Dad killed!!!.

I know she is right I have betrayed her I know I have hurt her but I love her love conquers all I will not let her home -she will be my Luna wether she likes it or not. A red mist descends I am angry that she doesn't love me

'Well I love you and I will keep you here until you learn to love me You will be my Luna!'

I push her on the bed I want her and if I have to I will take her. I try to kiss her but she bites my lips

's**t!'.

I stand up and see her shaking on the bed. I come out of my red mist

'Savannah I am so sorry please'.

'Get out stay away from me!!!!'.

I retreat to my office. I have to try and fix this some how.

Athena POV

I really thought Alpha David would accept me I love him but no he wants my best friend Savannah she was trying to tell me something before Alpha David disturbed us.

I knock on Savannah's door I have unfinished business I need to know.

'Go away Alpha Leave me alone!'.

'Savannah it's Athena I need to talk to you'.

Savannah opens the door her eyes are red and swollen she's been crying

'Athena please come in'.

We sit and talk I can't believe what I am hearing

it's hard to comprehend

'So let me see if I can make some kind of sense Alpha David had your Dad killed do that he could claim you. You are a Sapphire Seer and that's how you found out about your Dad's murder. Alpha David won't let you go, you want to go home and I am a rejected mate'.

'Athena has he rejected you?'.

'No his wolf won't let him, it's his wolf that wants me'.

Savannah POV

Ugh! I feel so sorry for Athena she wants her mate, his wolf wants her but the human side doesn't I need to try and find away to help her.

'There is a way, it would mean banishing the human side of David, Jason will be control of both forms. But there's no guarantee it will work'. Amber speaks up

'How will it work?' I ask

'The next full moon we would have to recite a spell; this would give Jason a chance to come through and stay in control'.

Athena looks at me confused

'Savannah? What's going on?'.

'I know of a way, but I need your help. '

I go through Amber's idea. We go to the library. I try to get through to Daniel.
