Chapter 9

David POV

'What the f**k! You rejected my perfect mate. You killed another's father. And then try to take another by force! What the hell? You are seriously f****d up in the head!. I swear to the goddess if I had a separate body I would seriously kick your arse'. Jason is angry with me. I don't blame him; I tried to hurt Savannah.

I sigh heavily. How can i get Savannah to forgive me? She belongs to me. The moon goddess made a mistake when she paired me with Athena. Don't get me wrong. Athena is lovely, but it's Savannah I want. I just have to convince them I'm right.

Daniel POV

I know it was David who took my Savannah. I'm having a hard time keeping Ajax calm. He just wants his mate

'Ajax, we will get her back. I know we will'

'If he even so much as touches one single hair on her, I WILL kill him without hesitation'

I'm going over a palm with my Father in his office. Alpha David's territory isn't the biggest, but it's big enough. We had to be clever and quick. My grandmother has been trying to get through to Savannah. Its likely that David has put up some kind of blocker. I really hope she is OK.

Savannah POV

I sit on the edge of the bed. My room is filled with my favorite colors and stuff Alpha David knows I like. If he thinks this is going to get him to forgive and love him, he can think again. Not only has he taken my father away, he has kidnapped me and taken me away from my true mate and my mum. What does he hope to achieve?

'Savannah. It seems its more complicated than I first thought. Jason wants his true mate and David wants us. David seems to have got into his head that the moon goddess has made a mistake. David believes we belong to him.'

'How is that even possible? The moon goddess doesn't make mistakes. I know Daniel won't rest until we are back together, but in the mean time, Amber, you and I have to think of a way to help Jason and make Jason pay for his crimes.

Athena POV

What does Savannah have that I don't? I just don't understand I am his true mate, not her; I thought she was my best friend.

My thoughts are interrupted by a knock at the door. I open the door to see Savannah. Hmph! She is beautiful. I can see why Alpha David doesn't want me

'Athena, I need to talk to you. About Alpha David'

'What so you can rub it in my face? You already have a mate and you have come back here to take what is mine!' Savannah jumps back at my outburst. I can see pain and confusion spreading across her face.

'Athena, you have it all wrong. It's true i do have a mate. It seems that Alpha David believes that the moon goddess made a mistake. He seems to think that I belong to him; but Jason, his wolf, wants you'.

Savannah POV

I can see doubt spreading across Athena's face.

'Place your forehead against Athena's; she will be able to see all that has happened.' I do as Amber says as soon as I place my forehead against Athena's events from the last few weeks, play through both our minds. I can feel Athena's emotions through the connection. It becomes too much for her, so I break contact.

'Athena, I'm so sorry. I thought it was better for you to see what happened. Amber and I are a Saphire Sear, which means I can communicate through thoughts and dreams. It's these dreams that lead me to the truth about what happened. It seems Jason wants you. Alpha David, it appears, will do anything to take me away from my true mate. We have to stop him and I need your help.
