Chapter 6

Savannah POV

I'm sat with my mum, Fiona and Anya; I'm still reeling from my revelation that I am a sear! Mum suspects that it may have been Dad's mum or his grandmother

'So these dreams or visions I've been having I guess you could say they are clues?' I look at Anya

She pauses for a moment I think maybe to choose her words

'I' m not going to sugar coat it sweetie but yes you could say they are clues - but I have to warn you the truth can sometimes hurt in the most unexpected ways'.

My mum shoots a curious look at Anya and so do I; I walk into the other room I need space to process what is happening

'Does she know something I don't?' I ask Amber

Suddenly I feel Amber come forward

Jayne POV

I go after Savannah all this is too much I need to make sure she is Ok that's when I see her

'Oh my goddess Savannah!!!'

Daniel and Damon burst through the door Savannah is standing and looks like she is having a seizure - her eyes are now glowing a very dark blue almost like a Sapphire colour

'The truth will come to reveal its self; all is not what it seems betrayal and murder' Savannah's voice is distorted it almost sound like her wolf Amber

Suddenly Savannah seems to snap out of this trance like state and acts as if nothing had happened as if she slipped out of her own consciousness

'What why is everyone giving me weird looks? Mum? Daniel?'

Daniel POV

I hear Jayne scream Dad and I burst in to see my beautiful mate in a trance her eyes are glowing a dark blue and her voice is distorted

'The truth will come to reveal its self; all is not what it seems betrayal and murder'.

Then she suddenly snaps out of it as nothing had happened Anya then steps forward

'I think Savannah is a Saphire sear Jayne can you remember the day Savannah was born did it happen to be a full blue moon? '

' Yes I remarked to Jake that I felt blessed I gave birth on a blue moon'.

Savannah POV

I don't understand what is going on but everyone is giving me wired looks

'Amber I felt you come forward and....'

'I couldn't help it but something compelled me to come forward Anya is right we are a Sapphire Sear - a very powerful being we can understand dreams go into the past and and as everyone has seen make predictions about what is to happen although most sears can predict the future; I can come forward and speak'

'This is all very good and all but what does all this have to do with the dreams I've been having?'

I hear Anya ask my mum if I was born on a blue moon and my mum answered yes.

'It seems that Savannah is indeed a Sapphire Sear' Anya looks up from the book she is reading confining what I already know thanks to Amber

I am really confused I sit down;

'Savannah this is going to be very difficult to explain but we believe there is more to your Father's death something just doesn't seem to sit right' Damon explains

I remember going to see Damon when I first arrived and I asked him to help; I'm looking at him now and I have an awful feeling in the pit of my stomach all is not what it seems

' Savannah it seems that Anya and your prediction were right this isn't going to be easy for you to hear; I've been hearing whispers from neighbouring packs that Alpha David is attempting to take you as his mate’. Daniel growls at this.

Daniel POV

' Noone touches my mate' Ajax growls he tries to claw his way forward but I manage to calm him having him come out now won't help.

Savannah can sense I'm tense she rubs my arm and puts her head on my shoulder I allow her scent to calm me

'Dad what do you propose we do to keep Savannah safe?'. I ask knowing full well I knew the answer my Dad looks at Savannah nervously

'Complete the mating bond mark one another and that way we can protect our future Luna'.

I look at Savannah she smiles nervously. Ajax howls with joy

'Don't Ajax we don't know if she will agree to this we have to take it at her pace'

'But she is our mate surely ........' I cut off the mind link before he could finish the sentence. I mentally remind him that Savannah has lost her Father recently and was propositioned by another Alpha trying to claim her as his she is a reluctant Luna any attempts to take her against her will could sabotage all our hard work we have to be paitent.

Savannah POV

I glance at Daniel nervously I know I'm mated to the Alpha and I've only known for a few days I wanted to wait

'Savannah waiting is only going to put us in further danger we need to complete the mating bond tonight as it's the night of the blue moon only then can we come into our true powers and figure out what happened and why Alpha David is so persistent to claim us'

'You don't think that Alpha David suspects that we are a Sapphire Sear and wants us for our powers?'

'No but I do know that it's the human part of Alpha David that wants to claim us his wolf wants his true mate The human side of David has already rejected his true mate'.

I know this to be true as I remember Amber having first mention it.

' Well it seems I have no option I want to compete the mating bond tonight'

'Yes Savannah tonight is the night of the full blue moon' Anya remarks

'Wait a minute Savannah you need to think about this you've been through so much I want you to be absolutely certain about this' Daniel takes my hand I glance at my mum who I think it is impressed that Daniel is showing so much restraint.

'Daniel there is nothing to think about your dad said it himself the only true way to protect me and this pack is to mate...... so why are we standing around here' I ask.

Daniel POV

I can't believe she wants to complete the bond tonight I'm must admit it has crossed my mind a few times, I approach Savannah I look into her eyes and I can sense her wolf calling to Ajax Savannah smiles her eyes turn black and her cannines extend Ajax is howling I also feel my eyes turn black I pick her up bridal style

'If you will all excuse us'

I carry her out if the room and up to my room this is it In going to claim my mate
