Chapter 10: Crossover Scenes In theatrical terms, a crossover scene disguises a set change or other stage alteration by parading actor(s) in front of a curtain. They’d sing something stale that recaps but doesn’t advance the plot, crack wise about a supporting character not present, maybe some soft-shoe. Computer mechanization has relegated them to purist revivals. I have no one to shove out front. The curtain stays up.
