Chapter 11- Sunday: 1 a.m.

4244 Words
On the recorded tape was the last moments of Lida Wren:        AHHHHHH!!!!        The pain......oh the pain....I can't take it.       "SOMEONE HELP ME!!!" I screamed whilst banging my remaining fist on the door. If I didn't get help soon, I would for sure die. The blade had been heated to stop the blood flow, most likely to cause more suffering on my part. I couldn't bear looking at the stump of what used to be my wrist and hand. One moment there, the next gone. The pain is unbearable. How I haven't fainted is a mystery within itself.       "SOMEONE, PLEASE!! I'M SO SORRY!! JUST LET ME OUT!" I continued to howl.          The room itself seemed to come straight from a book of horrors. The ground was covered in broken bits of glass that would be cutting into my feet if it weren't for my shoes. There was a normal, metal table off to the left which held all different sorts of blades; scalpels, meat cleavers, butter knives, normal knives, pocket knives, etc. There was also a clearly visible camera high in the far right corner of the room. The walls themselves were just cement as well as the floor and ceiling. All that illuminated the room was a single red-tinted bulb that cast an eerie glow on everything.       "I'm so....sorry, Klarissa...." I whispered while a tear escaped my violet eyes. I attempted to run my hands through my hair only to have blood coat the left side of my head. My hand.....it's gone. WHY?! What did I ever do to deserve this?! A loud crackle was heard from above me. I looked up to see a large, old-fashioned intercom and a familiar voice came through it.      "You know you deserve this, you slut. You shouldn't even be on this Earth. You're a disgrace to humanity."        "NO!! I'm not.....I didn't do anything!" I yelled up at it through my tears.        "Do you know how much pain you put Klarissa through? Did you ever notice her tears when you abused her? Did she ever beg you to stop as you continued mercilessly?"        "SHUT UP!" I shouted while attempting to cover my ears.       "Did she ever scream in pain as you are now? You know you deserve this. You should just go end yourself and save us all from your abusive ways."         "I'm so sorry.....I never wanted to hurt her...." I spoke in remorse as I fell to the cold ground. Thoughts of all I had put my poor best friend through ran around my mind.          "Your just a worthless, little girl. Oh look, you're even crying. How pathetic. You have all the tools here to kill yourself. Why don't you?"          "I never meant to hurt her.......I'm so sorry...I-I'm not worthless," I said. I finally realized what the voice was doing. The words he was speaking were directly quoted from myself. I had said almost all those words before to Klarissa. That poor girl....I'm so sorry. I should have never taken everything out on her. Maybe I should.....end myself.        "I don't know why Klarissa never retaliated. She didn't even want revenge. She was a great friend until the end, unlike you."         "You're right......maybe I should end it all. I shouldn't be on this world when all I do is bring pain," I realized dully. When I looked up my eyes had lost the spark of life in them. I slowly got up as the voice continued to speak degrading words to me, as if in a trance. My legs were scratched up from the glass I had previously been sitting on. Little trails of blood ran down. It reminded me of a race. The droplets were racing to see who could end my life first. The thought caused me to break out into laughter as tears fell down my face. I had finally broke after all these years.        I continued to make my way over to the table containing the weapons. They were shining with a red tint due to the light making them look sinister. My mind began to rethink its decision before my eyes went blank again due to the thoughts whirling around my head. I reached forward with my right hand and grabbed the scalpel then walked over to a corner and sat down. As I sat down, pleasant music began to play over the intercom while I felt the shards of glass sinking deeper into my legs. Almost like it was wishing me the best in the afterlife. I smiled for that.          I continued smiling a blank smile as I dragged the blade across my skin, remembering exactly where I had marked Klarissa as well and sinking deeper. This is for the best. I was never mentally strong without an outlet.        "You know, I always did love you, Lee Lee. O.F. made me do this. I wish we could have grown old together and had children to carry our generation on. That bastard ruined everything for me, I'm so sorry..."         "What?....." I whispered with wide eyes. I was getting light headed from blood loss. Everything finally registered in my mind. I was killing myself. The voice was so familiar.       "I...don't.....want to....d-die," I spoke softly. A figure walked through the wall as my vision started failing me. They had short brown hair and a bulky body. He was so.....familiar. The person walked over to me and knelt down to my level. He embraced my body that was losing its warmth. He then kissed my chapped lips in a soft goodbye kiss.       "I love you so much, Lidia," the boy said looking into my eyes. I willed myself to focus and noticed his hazel eyes. My hand reached up to touch his face as he grabbed my hand.       "I'll make him pay, Sweetheart. I promise," he said.       "I.....love you....too.....Luke," I breathed out. With one final gasp of breath and a tear that escaped my eye I saw a light behind him. I felt myself leave my human vessel and I moved towards it. With that the gateway closed and I was finally rid of my suffering.                                                           ~                              ~                              ~         My face was covered in my own salty tears by the end of the video. Miranda was also crying into Lewis's shoulder. The boys were just watching the screen with empathetic looks. Lidia didn't deserve that fate. This was even more of a reason why we should get out of here. Only, if we left now we wouldn't have my sister, and I can't leave without her. I can't leave her to a fate with a mad man.       "So Luke is alive!" Nathaniel stated.        "Yeah, but if you were listening you would realize that he is working with O.F," Mark replied.       "And if you were listening you would know he wasn't on O.F.'s side," Nathaniel fired back.       "Let's not do this now, guys. We need to figure out what we do next," Caspian cut in.       "I suggest we get out of here as fast as we can," Nathaniel said.       "But my sister's still alive! She's trapped with O.F.!" I shouted.       "So? If we don't leave now we won't be alive," he replied," I honestly don't care what happens to her as long as we make it out alive. I'd rather have you alive anyways. That b***h gives me the creeps."       "Excuse me?! We aren't leaving without my sister. I won't allow it," I said. I was getting angry, and that was unnatural for me. I couldn't believe how he was acting. Then I remembered something. I could give someone up for my sister...No, bad Kadince. There has to be another way to get her.       "Well, sorry to rain on your parade, sweet cheeks, but you're not the one running this show," Nathaniel said back.        "I'm with Kadince. We're not leaving without the Little Lady," Mark spoke up to which Caspian agreed.         "She's my best friend, I sure as hell ain't going to leave her here with that sadist," Miranda firmly said through her teary eyes.          "Oh come on, guys. This is stupid. Let's just get going and-"         "No, Nathaniel. We're staying for Klarissa," Lewis ended it.         "Well if we don't find her in the next few hours we'll have to. The electric fence will be turned off for us again at 6. If we aren't there at that exact time, we're stuck here," Nathaniel explained.         "Okay, so we'd better start looking," Miranda stated.          "O.F. said we shouldn't look for them. He offered another way to get her though..." I said. The wheels began turning in my head once more. No one would miss Nathaniel, and I needed my sister back. I couldn't live without her! I'd do anything to get her back.          "Hey guys, can I talk to Nathaniel alone for a moment?" I softly spoke. Caspian and Mark looked at me in shock. I think they understood what I was doing. They understand though, right? I have to do it.          "Sure thing, Kandi." Lewis said. I walked over and grabbed Nathaniel by the hand and led him towards the door.         "Where are we going?" Nathaniel questioned.        "Nowhere important. Just away from prying eyes," I spoke softly again while opening the door. If luck was on my side the walls would be soundproof. I led him down the hall a bit and opened a door that looked abnormal due to the sinister atmosphere that was forming. It was a plain white door, but besides that it looked like all the others. I opened it to see bedroom. It was rather neat, but everything was dark in color. Quickly glancing around the room I noticed a fire poker. Perfect.             "So...why are we here, Kandi?" Nathaniel spoke in a deep voice.           "I wanted to tell you something," I softly said with a doe-like innocence. I motioned him to step into the room, and as he did I shut the door while turning the lock.            "And what did you want to tell me?" He drawled with half-lidded eyes. It was clear what he was thinking. Disgusting. I moved towards the fire poker and put it behind my back. I could use his desire to get him closer to me.          "Well..." I drew out and motioned him to come to me with my finger. I could only hope that this pleased O.F. enough to give me my sister back. "I just wanted to tell you something I've been thinking for a really long time."          "Yes," he purred while grasping my hip. I gasped in surprised and tried to get a hold of myself. I was getting slightly scared. I didn't want to kill him, but I had to. For Klarissa. I looked into his grey, stormy eyes clouded with lust and I leaned up to his lips.          "O.F. told me I could get Klarissa back if....."           "What, darling? What do you have to do?" He deeply spoke.            "If I killed someone," I looked up with wide eyes and shoved him backwards, quickly grabbing the fire poker and thrusting it towards him with all my might. He gasped in air and fell to the ground while blood pooled out around him.          "Why...K-Kadince? Y-you were s-so innocent...," He said while blood dribbled out of his mouth. It was a disturbing sight, but I wasn't finished.          "I'm so sorry, Nathaniel. I need my sister back. I won't let O.F. have her. You have to understand," I  desperately said at the end while grabbing the fire poker and pulling it out while he gave a yelp of pain.           "Pl-please......Kandi....don't...," he pleaded. I gave him one last look of regret before I shoved the fire poker through his heart.                                                      ~                             ~                             ~        "My name is Olivander Lucius Ferdinan, my Little Lady," the male before me spoke in a smooth, rich voice. Everything seemed to slow as he reached his hand out for me to grab because in my movement to get away from him, I had fallen off the couch I presumed I was laying on. I looked up at him to see sadistic purple eyes with a golden ring around the iris. Upon further inspection I realized he was the man from the picture. It finally clicked in my mind that this person was O.F., and the second everything caught up to me, I sprung up and moved as far away from him as I could.        "Someone help me! Get me out of here!" I screamed while banging on the wall.       "Now that was quite rude. Please stop screaming, my lovely. It's of no use, and you'll just hurt your voice once more," Olivander cooed while walking towards me.       "Stay away from me!" I shouted, cowering into the wall. Everything that happened leading up to this raced into my head. Lidia was dead. I was taken. I need to get back to my friends. We have to get out of here.        "I have no intention of hurting you. Please don't fear me," the blonde spoke while reaching his hand out for me once more.        "You killed Lidia!" I accused while moving away only to find myself in a corner.        "Technically speaking, she killed herself, but I had to eliminate her! That's how the game works, my love. You should be grateful I took you in," he tried reasoning with me.         "It should have been me...You should have killed me!" I couldn't believe what he was saying. Lidia would still be alive and smiling if it wasn't for him. Olivander was finally upon my shaking form. He reached out and wrapped his arms around me. I tried wriggling out of his grasp, but he had me in a death grip.         "Now, now. Hush, I couldn't have done that. You're too special," he whispered in my ear.       "LET ME GO!!" I screeched. The loud noise caused him to release his grip allowing me a moment to wiggle free. I immediately pushed past him to look for an escape, but there wasn't even a door anywhere.         "It's useless looking for a way out. You won't be able to find it," he dully said. I think at that time I finally realized the situation I was in. I was trapped in a room with a mentally unstable murderer with no way out. I slowly walked over to a chair near the middle of the room and collapsed, bringing my legs to my chest and hugging them with a few tears escaping my eyes. I looked up and saw a multitude of screens portraying room all throughout the house and occasionally outside. I didn't know how I hadn't noticed them before.       "Do you like it?" a voice said in my ear. I jumped and looked to my side to see the dark purple eyes of Olivander gazing at me.         "Why?" I softly asked, all nerves on edge by his proximity.        "I have to keep an eye on all of my players now, don't I?" He answered rhetorically. I just nodded my head and gazed back in surprise at the great mass of screens. There were so many. I finally found the ones with my friends. I got up from the comfortable chair and walked over to the screen.         "I can turn the audio on if you'd like," Olivander suggested. I just nodded my head, transfixed on the screens. I reached out and touched the figures on the tv as I heard their voices begin to speak. They were speaking about whether they should come after me or not.           "I'm right here, guys! Please.....come help me...," I shouted at the device and hit my hands on it. I felt a hand on my shoulder as another tear slid down my face. "Don't touch me!" I screamed at Olivander as I spun around and violently shoved his hand off my person.         "Stop crying, dear. I'm trying to comfort you. They can't hear you. It's not that bad here, I promise," he gently said to me. The blonde reached up and wiped a tear off my cheek with a sympathetic look on his face.         "Just leave me alone!" I weakly shouted as I moved him out of my way to walk towards the chair. I sat down as more salty tears ran down my face at hearing Kadince trying to get me back. I looked back up at the screen to see my little sister and Nathaniel walking out of the room. They left that screen and started walking down the hall.        "W-what are they doing?" I asked Olivander. I honestly didn't want to talk to him, but he was sure to have some answers.        "It seems your darling sister has taken up my offer on a way to get you back, my sweet." He answered with a smirk as he walked over to me.        "Can you please turn the audio on for where they're going?" I asked with teary eyes and an uneasy tone settling into my voice.         "Of course, Little Lady. I would like nothing more than to make you happy," he said while slightly bowing. For being a mass murderer he seemed like quite a gentleman. He walked over to a control panel with several buttons ranging from small to large, square to circle, switches to levers, etc. Olivander pressed a small button that seemed insignificant and the sound for Kadince and Nathaniel came on. They went into what appeared to be a bedroom.         "Oh, this will prove to be quite interesting, Klari, if you would allow me to call you that. I suggest you pay close attention," the purple-eyed male said whilst smirking. I decided to heed his words and I paid closer attention. Kadince seemed very fidgety and she kept glancing to a certain corner of the room. She lead Nathaniel into the space and began speaking. If I was there I would have attacked him. He was making extremely inappropriate moves on my sister that radiated through the screen, and my anger spiked.          "She's only fourteen for f**k's sake! Leave her alone!" I screamed at the screen as if he could hear me. That bastard Olivander only chuckled at me, so I sent him a death glare.          "Hahaha, you're adorable. Don't worry, my love. Kadince won't let him get that far," he assured me.          "Stop calling me pet names. I'm sick of it," I stated, and he only smiled in return. I turned my attention back to the screen to hear Kadince say that she could get me back if she killed someone. My eyes went wide as I witnessed my innocent baby sister shove a fire poker through Nathaniel's chest. Olivander doubled over in laughter while I stared horrified at Kadince. Her eyes looked scared and hopeful. I had to will myself to believe she saw this as her last chance. She had to. Oh, Kadince....        "Now this is the fun part," the blonde said as he grabbed a microphone from the control table.          "Hahaha, well done, Kadince. I must say, that was quite the show. Your darling sister is awake. She witnessed the whole thing. I think she believes you're a monster--"          "Don't listen to him, KandiI! Just go back to our friends. I understand why you did it," I shouted over the intercom as Olivander slightly glared at me.        "Klarissa! I'm so sorry! He promised me if I did that he'd give you back!" Kadince yelled to a random spot in the room, looking around in a wide-eyed frenzy.        "Well I sure am sorry, little Kandi. I don't quite want to let my beautiful angel go just yet," Olivander chuckled as he shut off the speaker.         Kadince looked at the room in horror at what she had done. She then began shouting curse words at Olivander as he merely laughed. He truly was sadistic. I don't know why I ever thought he had a nice bone in his body. I immediately jumped off the chair in rage and walked over to where he stood and slapped him straight across the face, all fear leaving my body.        "YOU PROMISED HER, YOU BASTARD! YOU TOLD HER YOU'D LET ME GO!" I yelled in his face while pointing at him. "YOU PROMISED MY BABY SISTER! You promised....and now look at what you've done!"        "I'm a criminal, darling. It's what I do. Now why don't you go take a nice shower and get yourself calmed down and clean?" He seemed to have shrugged off everything I had just said. The blonde even seemed to brush aside that I had slapped him even as a bright red hand print formed a welt on his pale face.        "No," I said while defiantly looking into his eyes. He raised his eyebrows at me as if he had never heard anyone talk back to him before.       "Excuse me? My lovely, I don't want to have to use force. When I tell you to do something, I expect you to do it," Olivander ordered, crossing his arms against his chest and straightening his back in attempts to intimidate me.       "Never. I'm not moving until you stay true to your promise to my sister," I retaliated. I heard a sigh escape his lips.       "I didn't want to have to do this, angel." the blonde said before swiftly swooping down and picking me up bridal style.       "Put me down!" I shouted while flailing around trying to get out of his hold. It didn't seem to faze him any as he kept walking towards a seemingly normal wall. With a push of a certain part of the wall, it opened to reveal a luxurious bathroom. He immediately dropped me on the floor and closed the opening.       "Ouch, you dickhead!" I called out in pain. The floor was made out of granite tile and it hurt to land on.         "You can come out once you've learned to behave. Also, take a shower. I'm tired of you smelling like other people. If you look on the sink you will find a fresh pair of your clothes to change into," I heard his muffled voice through the door. I tried moving the opening, but it wouldn't budge. "The door can only be opened from this side. It's no use."      "How do I know you're not lying to me? You lied to Kadince," I pointed out while sliding down the wall.       "I would never lie to you, my Little Lady," his muffled voice said.       "Uh huh. Sure, whatever," I sarcastically sighed. I heard footsteps walk away at that point and a crashing noise. My eyes widened and I finally realized how bad I had been smelling. A shower would definitely help. I checked out the clothes and they were indeed mine. They were the clothes I had brought in my bag. That slightly worried me because I didn't know if he had my picture. I pushed the worry to the back of my mind figuring that it wasn't  my biggest problem at the moment.        Cautiously peering around the room for cameras before doing anything more, I stripped out of the bloody clothes and got into the white shower that had a golden shower head. I turned the water to hot to wash away all my worries and to clear my mind when I came to the conclusion that the room was private. I soon got lost in my thoughts. Maybe if I was paying attention I would have heard what Olivander had said outside the wall opening, and I would have had my guard up even more. Maybe I could have gotten free.        "My dear....if only you would have pressed the wall a bit harder in that corner of yours. You would have escaped me....but I can't have that, my love. You are here for ME and only ME.....you cannot leave once you have entered the m******e Mansion."
