THE CRIMINAL
After breakfast and driving to the hotel lobby, Ashley turned up the radio preaching Cody Johnson’s song Doubt Me Now, speaking to the all the people in this god forsaken town who have doubted Mitchell. As the song ended, they pulled to a stop light, one block from the bank. Mitchell grabbed her hand and kissed it with a devilish smile before saying, “Best way to get pumped up before confronting the first criminal.” Holding hands and walking into the bank, Sally greeted then escorted them into a side office where Sheriff Watson was standing against the wall waiting.
Sally began the conversation, “I spoke to Sheriff Watson, and he’d like to see your evidence then we’ll proceed as needed.” Ashley walked the group through the receipts and her notes. In addition, Sally
