"It's worse than I thought." Ajax began to sweat, without knowing, his grip on your slender wrist became more painful. "A-Ajax, you're hurting me!" you cried, tears formed in your eyes. His eyes widen in sudden realization before he let go of your wrist, "There I go again." you heard him whisper to himself, you saw him looking at his palms. "These hands, have already hurted many people... But hurting a girl, twice..." He wept. Holding your numb wrist, you looked at Ajax. He was crying, it was obviously all your fault. "Ajax, it's fine. I want to go home now." you walk towards the gym door, "No, it is not okay." he was wiping his tears away. "Y/n, I promise to take care of you until you get better." you heard him say as you walk out of the gym door and waited for him outside. Walking home, you couldn't let anyone see what happened to your eye, so you let your (h/c) hair fall over it. Ajax was walking silently beside you, not daring to say a word. "Hey Ajax, are you okay?" You asked hesitantly. He didn't look at you, he was just facing the sunset, the orange reflection was on both of your faces. "I should be the one asking you that, Y/n." he mumbled. You heard him say something but couldn't make out what it was. You were kicking a few stones off the concrete path you were walking on, you let your mind wander. "I can see your house from here." you heard him say which made you jump, you weren't expecting any words from him. "Guess I'll see you tomorrow girly." he said as he was about to turn, but you stopped him. "I know I may sound a little straightforward, and you might think I'm taking advantage of the black eye you gave me but... C-can I ask for your number?..." you ask, blushing 50 shades of red. You heard him chuckle, "My number?" Ajax asked, "Y-yes... I may not be able to come to school tomorrow, so I'll need someone to send me the work if I'm absent." you explained. You see him smile a bit before grabbing your phone and typing in his number, he rubbed the back of his head before returning your phone back to you. As you were about to go, you felt his hand on your shoulder, as you looked behind you, you saw his phone. "You got my number, it's only fair I get yours too. Am I right?" he smiled, you grabbed his phone and saved your number too. "Message me if you ever need anything, if it's an emergency give me a ring. Get better soon girly." He reminded you before parting ways. "He really likes calling girls girly huh?" You whispered to yourself before rushing home to put some ice on your throbbing eye. --- Yesterday, your parents got shocked you thought they were going to have a heart attack. They took you to the doctor immediately. As you expected, the doctor recommended that you stay at home for a few days as your eye was quite sever and painful. After you took the disgusting medicine the doctor prescribed you, you lay in bed, your phone on your stomach. It was boring, to be honest. But the pins and needles in your eyes kept you busy for awhile. Ever since Ajax hit your eye with the volleyball, you began to think less of him. "I wonder why..." you question yourself. Not that you lost interest in him, you still love him, and you know that for sure. Maybe he got all those thoughts out with the hit? But honestly, you wouldn't want to think about someone who gave you a serious injury, even if it was your crush. But then again, it happened anyway. You closed your left eye, as your right eye was still shut and it was patched under an eyepatch. You began to imagine things. Him smiling, him laughing, him talking to you sweetly, him loving you. Smiling like a little girl, you blushed a deep red and sat up on your bed, "Who am I even kidding?" You chuckle, "I can't stop thinking about that Ed Sheeran." you smiled again as you felt your phone buzz. You turned it on as you saw who messaged you, it was Ajax. Your fingers were shaking as you opened the messaging app. King Childe ?: Hey girly, you didn't come to school. How's your eye? : Þ... You replied quickly, starting a conversation with him. Y/n: Yeah, the Doctor recommended for me to stay at home for a few days. It still hurts but I can manage, but the bad thing is that I got diagnosed with Subconjunctival Hemorrhage :// King Childe ?: Oh... I'm really sorry for hitting the ball that hard. I was so focused, I didn't notice my surroundings first :'(( You felt his sincerity, as you were about to reply, there was another message from him. King Childe ?: Oh and, what's that you're diagnosed with? : Þ You mentally smacked your face before replying. Y/n: Don't worry about it! It's technically bleeding of the eye. :]] King Childe ?: I HIT IT THAT BAD?! JUST HOW HARD DID I DO IT... T^T Y/n: Ajax, I literally said it's okay for more than who knows how many times now. AND DONT BE SO VULGAR PLS SKSKSKSK. You were actually having a real conversation with him. King Childe ?: Damn, strict parents huh? ?️??️ Y/n: Shut up. Oh and before I forget, can you please come over? I need to know what I missed :'p King Childe ?: Well isn't it obvious, of course you missed me girly. : þ You blushed even more, well he is technically saying the truth. You already missed him. You only asked for him to come over so that you can see him. Y/n: Thank you, get here safely :]] King Childe ?: I will, oh and Coach Baizhu is asking how are you feeling. Y/n: Tell him I'm fine, just recovering slowly : > King Childe ?: What a liar, anyways the bell rang. See you later girly : þ ---
