I was woken up by my mum three hours later. My dad was home, it was time to discuss today's events with him. I freshened up and went to have dinner. I wasn't upset or sad, it was more like confused. Was he speaking the truth or not? At dinner, mum filled my dad in on everything and even showed him the pictures that Austin sent to her phone. I laughed at the way my dad took the news. He made an entire joke about how my beauty was so great, it was making men fantasize about me. The jokes and laughs made me forget about how confused I was and I pushed today's events to the back of my mind. "There's nothing to worry about, we'll go there during the weekend and see what the truth is then figure everything out from there", my dad said. He helped me wash the dishes and I went to sleep. As usual I woke up late the next day and I rushed to school. "Sooo? Mrs Werewolf, how do you howl today?", Ava asked jokingly. "I don't know, the moon isn't full so I can't howl", I joked back. "What did your dad say?", Chelsea asked. "He thought it was hilarious. We are meeting with him and his personal assistant during the weekend at some community house to see if truly they're werewolves or not.", I explained. "Ooooh, you're going to meet his family. It's giving daughter in law," Chelsea said. We all laughed. "I've researched on werewolves but I can only find that they're folklore, fiction, legends. There's no real evidence that they're real", Bryan said. "I would know, I'm a supernatural fanatic", he ended being over dramatic. I could only chuckle as first period class started. I didn't think about the strange man and his werewolf story the rest of the week. I actually even forgot about it till I was woken up on Saturday very early by my mum. I do not wake early Saturdays, even if there is a fire burning down our house, you'll have to carry me out of the house while sleeping but I am not waking up so I was pretty upset that my mum woke me up. "Get dressed and pack a few clothes, we're going to Aden's families house", mum announced. Aden? oh, the strange werewolf man. I remembered that we were to go to his house this weekend. I got dressed and packed two more clothes because we won't be staying long. Just two days. I got into the car with my mum and dad and we drove about an hour back to the sunflower cafe. "Why are we here?", I asked. I thought I was going to Aden's family house. "We don't trust him yet, we can't let him know where we live so this is where he will pick us up from", my mum explained. "He has spoken to the cafe owner, he agreed for us to park our car here safely for the next two days", Dad said, he seemed pleased with the fact that he won't have to worry about the car. He also seemed excited, he was whistling and even making jokes. Mum, on the other hand was a lot more quiet that she usually is. I knew she was thinking about all the ways this can go wrong and how she can avoid it. She must have at least four hundred escape route in her head and two hundred ways to kill a grown man and werewolves. That's just how mum is, she is always prepared and never disappoints her family. I wanted to be like her, maybe a little more talkative but like her. I had already spoken to my brothers, all three of them. They were upset about the fact they couldn't be here for this trip to protect me but they assured me that they will be home soon. Their school was going on a mid term break soon so they'll be home for a while. I missed them a lot and I couldn't speak to them everyday because of their school rules. While we waited in the car, dad went to order me some breakfast. Some pancakes with butter, bacon and some coffee. They were very warm. Apparently we were too early because mum wanted us to get here first, she didn't want Aden to wait for us or know the direction from which we came through. I think she was being a little too cautious, probably because she watches a lot of crime documentaries but I also think it is the carefree teenager in me speaking. After about an hour, I saw the same mysterious black Tesla pull into the parking lot, the car parked in a spot few inches away from us. Aden and Austin came down, we also got down. "Thank you for showing up today", Aden said. Austin quickly transferred our luggages from our car to Aden's. We got into the back seat while Aden drove and Austin sat in the passenger. We started our journey.
