"We should give the children a chance to speak to each other in private. Get to know each other and then accept the mate bond", Aden's mum said after Austin had mind linked her that he would like to spend some time with Sapphire alone.
They both got up and walked to the garden outside, that is a perfect spot for a stroll.
"So... um.. We're mates, how do you feel about that?", Austin asked nervously. Aurora purred and growled inside Sapphire and she struggled to maintain control.
"To be honest, I don't want to be your mate", Sapphire said with a lot of energy. Austin's heart broke. He could feel Asher howl in pain. He couldn't understand why she didn't want to be mates.
"May I ask why?", Austin asked. "I am happy by myself. I do not need a man to ruin everything", Sapphire said.
