Chapter 6: The Army Beyond Time
The morning sky above the Chronos Realm glowed with shades of silver and blue.
Aditya stood at the highest balcony of the Temple Beyond Time, holding the Key of Eternity in one hand and the mysterious pocket watch in the other.
The Guardian of Time approached quietly.
"You have won the First Trial," he said. "But the Shadow Keeper has awakened an army that has slept for thousands of years."
A map made of pure light appeared in the air.
It showed countless worlds connected by glowing timelines.
One by one, several of those timelines turned black.
"What does that mean?" Aditya asked.
The Guardian's face became serious.
"The Shadow Army is invading history."
Suddenly, the temple alarm echoed across the mountains.
Boom!
Boom!
Boom!
A young warrior rushed into the hall.
"Guardian! A portal has opened near the Valley of Clocks!"
Without hesitation, Aditya and the Guardian ran outside.
Far across the valley, a giant black portal tore open the sky.
Thousands of shadow soldiers marched through it.
Each carried a glowing black sword.
Leading them was a giant armored commander riding a massive shadow beast.
"I am General Varkon," the commander roared.
"By order of the Shadow Keeper, surrender the Key of Eternity!"
Aditya stepped forward.
"I won't let you destroy time."
Varkon laughed.
"Then you will fall with it."
The ground shook as the Shadow Army charged.
The Guardian raised his crystal staff.
"Aditya... today you fight your first real battle."
The pocket watch suddenly released a brilliant blue light.
A glowing sword formed in Aditya's hand.
Its blade shimmered with the power of time itself.
Aditya smiled.
"I'm ready."
He charged toward the Shadow Army as the first clash of the War for Time began.
