Chapter 8: The Time Destroyer Awakens
The earth trembled beneath Aditya's feet.
Cracks spread across the Valley of Clocks as the sky grew darker. The floating Citadel of Shadows hovered above the battlefield like a giant storm cloud.
Inside the fortress, the Shadow Keeper raised the black crystal high into the air.
"Awaken... Time Destroyer!"
A deafening roar echoed through every timeline.
The crystal exploded into thousands of black fragments, and a colossal creature emerged from the darkness. It was covered in black armor, with glowing crimson eyes and enormous wings that seemed to swallow the light itself.
The Guardian of Time stepped back in horror.
"The Time Destroyer... I thought it was only a legend."
The monster spread its wings.
With a single flap, powerful shockwaves shattered mountains and froze rivers in time.
Aditya held the Sword of Time firmly.
"I won't let it destroy our world."
The Guardian handed him a glowing blue crystal.
"This is the Chrono Crystal. It will unlock the Sword's true power—but only if your heart remains fearless."
Aditya placed the crystal into the Sword of Time.
The blade burst into brilliant golden-blue light.
Ancient symbols circled around him, and a powerful wave of energy swept across the battlefield.
The frightened soldiers of the Chronos Realm cheered.
"The Time Keeper has awakened!"
The Time Destroyer charged toward Aditya with a terrifying roar.
Aditya leaped into the sky.
For a brief moment, time itself seemed to stop.
He raised the glowing sword.
"Eternal Time s***h!"
A dazzling arc of light cut through the darkness.
The blast struck the Time Destroyer, forcing the giant beast backward.
The Shadow Keeper narrowed his glowing red eyes.
"So... your power is growing faster than I expected."
He smiled coldly.
"But the next battle will decide the fate of every timeline."
The Citadel of Shadows slowly retreated into the storm clouds.
Aditya landed safely beside the Guardian.
The battle had been won...
But the war had only just begun.
