The rest of the interview passed in a blur. Zack was vaguely aware of Zoe asking questions. Of his teammates answering. He answered a few and hoped he didn’t say anything too ridiculous. He couldn’t remember what he said.
Ashley was distracting. DaEvo’s constant notifications that he shouldn’t ogle other women didn’t help matters either. He wasn’t ogling Zoe, but he did have to look at her as part of the interview. He didn’t really have a choice there.
Stupid DaEvo. He sighed with relief when the interview was finally over. It was the last one of the day, so the production crew turned off the lights and packed up their equipment. The crowd either dispersed or crowded around Zoe, asking her to sign things.
