Zack sighed, trying not to let Kayla’s words get him down. They’d won the semi-finals match last night, but Kayla had looked less than interested when Zack mentioned it. On the other hand, Ashley had sent him a congratulatory message late last night. He’d only noticed it when he woke this morning, but it had made him smile.
Kayla wrinkled her nose as she studied Zack from head to toe. In spite of the manicure, pedicure, and haircut quests he had completed in preparation for the gala, DaEvo had also not been impressed when Zack put on the tux that had been delivered that morning.
