MY VAMPIRE BOYFRIEND

THE MISSION

WITCH 1: my queen going to a far distance at this time of the night is very dangerous, i was told that vampires are stronger at night. But the night is the only time we have the chance to travel for an issue like this, during the day is not safe because we can not trust all the witches. No one knows if we have traitors in our midst.

WITCH 2: yes my queen, he is right, and i believe Felicia will not say anything to anyone out side your protection concerning this journey.

WITCH 3: even those in our protection are not supposed to know, it is just too risky. That vampire that betrayed his master was just so unbelievable, you never can tell who the real enemy is.

WITCH 4: we are getting close to the vampires Den, so you all should talk less if not, our mission will not be accomplished. Or maybe our noise might alert them , with this noise, they will know that some people are pas…

THE QUEEN:shhhhhhhhhhhh, (i sense danger), they are here.

One of the witches wanted to ask the queen who she was talking about but he couldn’t because he does not want to attract them with his voice.

THE QUEEN:(WHISPERING), you all should follow my step, i will be in front. I want to cast a spell of protection on us so that they won’t be able to see us.

As the queen ordered, they obeyed, they followed her footsteps, walking without any form of noise, the road was a tiny and bent one, it was full with thorns, many obstacles that may hinder their journey but with the help of the spell the queen casted, they almost over came.

As she casted the spell, her eyes were still closed, she instructed all the witches to close their eyes too without moving their body or legs. When they did that, all they could feel was that they were actually moving, how possible is that? But their queen made it possible. They found their self inside a cycled bubble, it was transparent, if any of them could open their eyes, he or she would definitely see those monsters . As the bubble kept on moving, witch 2 felt something as if he was feeling some strange creature beside him and decided to open his eyes, and when he did, the bubble vanished, they were now in the midst of those creatures, if only he endured, maybe they would have passed those creatures without them noticing their presence.

The creatures saw them, and didn’t bother to chase them because they knew that there was no way they could escape.

Immediately the bubble vanished, the queen felt it and decided to open her eyes immediately and saw that it is either they fight, or cast a spell on them for them to escape or they die. She started chanting a spell immediately before those creatures will get close to them, giving witch 2 a dangerous look. “I will have your time after this mission”, she said. She quickly concentrated on her chants and luckily for them the bubble came back and instantly, they became invisible to the creatures.

Minutes later, they passed the creatures and immediately, the bubble disappeared on it own causing the queen to fall on her kneels very weak. The truth of the matter was that each spell were not to be repeated after 2 hours if not, it may take the life of the person who is involved.

WITCH 1:my queen, he called out. Please do not leave us like this, we do not know where and how to start.

WITCH 2: let’s do something before it will be too late, i can vividly remember what my grand mother taught me before she died.

Witch 2 had lived with his grandmother for many years before she died and she was one of the queen mother in country OW, witch 2 had spent alot of time with his grandmother that she even had to teach him how to cast one of the powerful spell on a dyeing victim but the sacrifice could take a life in the process.

Witch two started chanting, doing all that he had been taught by his grandmother, he tried and tried, until he was exhausted.

WITCH 2: why is it not working? I am sure of what she said about this and i did it the way i was taught then why isn’t it working.

Aaaaaaaaaah, he screamed holding his chest in pain. His eyes were red, his skin started changing co-lour, his eyes turned pure white as he was gasping for air, the rest of the witches had no option but to cry. This were his last words " it worked”.Few seconds later, he ceased breath.

WITCH 3: please the both of you should wake up, pleeeeeeeese, they cried.

The rest of the vampires started crying, 10mins later, their queen regained consciousness.

THE QUEEN:what happened? Why the cry?

They all wiped their tears off.

THE QUEEN: why is he lying lifeless? The last thing i remembered was that the we were surrounded and then i casted a spell which the spell came back to form the bubbles and i also remembered that he was alive when all of that happened.

THE QUEEN : oh my God, the spell….. don’t tell me he …. she started crying. " i already know about bringing someone back to life after casting out the spell and i also know that the only payment is death.

She fell on her kneels, caressing the dead witch. She could not believe that he had just saved her by using his own life.

WITCH 4:my queen, he is dead. He saved you. That was the spell he learnt from his grandmother and death was the sacrifice and he knew about it.

THE QUEEN: let’s carry his body so we can bury him.

WITCH 5: my queen, that Will take the time that we don’t even have, let leave here before those creatures meet us up.

The queen cried so bitterly but had no option but to continue her journey with the remained witches.
