* It was bitter work, cruel and demanding at every turn. Every day felt brutal, and I would sometimes wonder if it was even worth it in the end. By the third day, I was fully exhausted and all I really wanted was for it to end. I craved that final minute when Sabrina would finally sit back down and say, “Well, I believe we’ve done enough for the day. You can go up to your room and have some rest now.” That would usually be followed by the stomping of my feet as I practically fled to my bedroom.
