* The trailer park was an abandoned little clearing deep in the forest, with several large white trailers taking up nearly all the space there. There was very little manoeuvring space, and the rank odour made it hard to think clearly. Joaquin led the way, with Ethel close behind him and me by her side. She had exchanged her pumps for flats, and she looked completely out of place in her bright blue sweater and white pants. I, on the other hand, had simply thrown on a black hoodie and army-green jeans. My black sneakers were laced up securely, ready to run at the slightest sign of danger. "Babe, are you sure this is safe?" Ethel asked in a soft whisper. "I don't think we should be messing with the Bloodhounds. They are notorious killers, and if we are caught then we will be done for."
