Damian's POV * I could see the terror in her eyes, and the way she was looking at me as if she had seen a ghost. All my anger disappeared when I looked at her, and not even the thick and pungent smell of my victim's blood could distract me. I could still hear the other one screaming as he ran, and my wolf longed to chase after him and rip his throat out. But I could not abandon Maeve.
