The forest was alive with chaos, the scent of ozone and wet earth mingling with the metallic tang of blood. Wolves snarled, claws flashing, fangs gleaming as they tore through the shadows that had descended upon us. My wolf surged within me, instincts screaming, heart pounding like a war drum. Every step I took was guided by my visions, flashes of danger and weak points that allowed me to anticipate attacks before they came. Dastien was beside me, aura flaring golden, energy rippling off him in waves that pushed back the enemies around us.
