Today was filled with press conferences and small photoshoots for local magazine companies.
I was dressed in a fitted black pantsuit with a white button-up shirt underneath that was unbuttoned a bit to reveal a little bit of cleavage. William was dressed the same and he wraps his arm around my waist as we stand on the cloth-covered floor.
"Your hair looks nice like this." He whispers in my ear as the flash of the camera goes off.
I furrow my brows in confusion. "This is my natural hair. I got out of the shower and put a little product in."
William picks up a strand of my curls and raises his brows. "It's like, extra curly today though. And your eyes are stunning."
I smirk, looking up at him and his own curly brown hair. "We can blame that on the makeup." William rolls his eyes and rests his cheek against my head.
We both look up as the lead photographer, Milo, comes up to us smiling. "Hello, loves. So our plan for this photoshoot is ranged on intimacy and your engagement. We'll obviously do another formal shoot later on but for now, it'll just be really close and fierce."
Milo was a tall Asian man, his hair was a little shaggy but cropped on the sides and he was dressed in a tailored suit that hugged his figure. His fingers were decked out in rings, much like William's today and his teeth were pearly white as he smiles at us.
"What exactly did you have in mind for us, Milo?" William asks, straightening up a bit.
Milo looks between us and smirks, rubbing his hands together. "I think you'll like it."
And he was right. We did.
Milo and his assistants had William behind me, his hands around my waist and his lips behind my ear as I smile and look away, placing my hands over his and exposing my engagement ring.
Another photo was William and I against a wall, his hand delicately on my throat and his lips hovering over mine as I grip onto his jacket. And one of my favorites was William sitting on a fake throne and wearing a crooked crown and smiling while he rolls his eyes whilst I sat on his lap, my arm around his shoulders while I kiss his cheek.
What William and I didn't know, was that Milo and his assistants secretly took photos of William and I during our breaks and those pictures won my heart. William was brushing a piece of hair behind my ear as I looked up at him, a smile on my lips as I put my hands on his slim waist.
I could remember that moment. I had told him about how I wanted to sneak out of the shoot and go eat at the local pub and watch the rugby game that was on and he laughed at me.
As Milo showed us the pictures and discussed the interview that would be held, I asked his assistant Tori to stay back and if it would be alright if I saw the rest of the photos.
"Of course you can. We'll call your publicist after editing all of the photos and the selected ones will be sent in for approval as well," she tells me.
I smile small at her, "Thank you."
Tori grins back and she comes to stand next to me, her very expensive camera in hand as she shoes me more pictures and we talk about the shoot.
I glance over at William, who has now stopped talking to Milo and was holding the prop crown we used in his hand and looking over it. I excused myself from Tori, thanked her again, and made my way over to him.
I snaked my arm around Williams back and rested my cheek on his shoulder. "Hi," I say quietly.
William looks at me and gives me a closed-lip smile. "Hey."
"What are you thinking about?" I ask, rubbing his back soothingly. The prince just sighs and shrugs his shoulders a bit.
"I keep thinking that I want to hold off the Coronation. That father will be okay and will healthy to rule a while longer so that I can live my life with you, normally until it was time. But the more I think about it, the more I know that that will never happen. And I'm honestly ready for it."
His words make me smile and I lean up, kissing the corner of William's lips softly. "William, our life will never be normal...and I'm okay with that, as long as I have you. We can do this. And if you're ready for the Coronation, we can talk with your parents and see when the official day is. And...I've also been thinking."
William turns to me, grabbing my arms gently and rubbing them. "About?"
I look up into his emerald eyes, so focused on me and taking everything in. I take a deep breath ad swallow, looking down at my feet. "I think it would be a good idea to have our wedding and coronation together."
The room was silent for a moment and I forgot that we weren't alone. I look around to see almost everyone looking at William and me. I give them a weak smile and a small wave and they are quick to get back to business.
William surprises me by grabbing my hand and pulling me into the hallway that leads outside to the palace entry. In the hallway, he pushes me against the wall and lifts my chin, pressing his lips against mine in a deep kiss and nearly makes my feet melt.
I return his kiss hesitantly and then pull back, giving him a confused look. "I'm confused, baby..why are yo-"
"I want to marry you. I want you to be mine, I want to finally be together forever. I love you." he says. He steps back and runs a hand through his hair as he lets out a shaky laugh. "We're definitely going to have to talk to my parents, and soon."
"But you agree? That the wedding and coronation together would be a good idea?" I ask quietly.
William turns back to me and steps close, cupping my face in his hands as he makes me look up at him. "It's a bloody brilliant idea, Rhett."
I smile and close the distance between us, kissing William gently and wrapping my arms around his shoulders. William makes a noise in the back of his throat and backs me up until I'm against the wall once more and slides his hands down my body, gripping my hips and pulling them against his.
I grin against his lips and slide my hands down his chest and stomach, stopping at his belt. My fingers brush teasingly against the growing tent in his trousers and William looks down at me, biting his lip. We jump apart, however, when the doors open and the younger prince appears.
"Oh," Andrew exclaims, his cheeks growing redder as he sees how William and I were just a few seconds ago, "Uhm, mother, and father are requesting your presence." He says, his mouth opening and closing as if he's meaning to say more before he turns around and walks away.
I let out a giggle and William laughs along with me. He then gently wipes the smudged lipstick from my bottom lip and kisses my forehead.
"Come, let's go tell them our decision."
