Andra Erlina Milburn's Point of View Right in front of me was my brother who needed my help. Currently, I just came off the university and the least place I went was here, in the hospital. "How's your medication going, Andrius?" I asked, a bit terrified about knowing how his whole day has been. He just shrugged his shoulders off. "I'm fine, greatly fine, I guess." He said. "Greatly fine, huh," I said, smirking. Andrius' eyes went down on my clothes. I was actually wearing the dress Zacarias bought for me since he asked if I was free today, as Zacarias and I will be going out of town for three days. His eyebrows shut up. It seems like he was pretty getting a hard time saying something since he knew that I'd fired back something to him this day. "I didn't know that you started buying things which costs around four hundred dollars, Andra," he was surprised, but the tone of teasing was there. I got surprised. "It wasn't four hundred b-bucks!" "Really? I just saw the tag, milady. I saw it's around $399.99, I guess?" My cheeks burned. I have no intentions telling it to everyone that now, I already have a connection towards a billionaire and I'm afraid that someone will know it. Regardless, I tried surpassing what I felt not until I thought of an alibi to talk about. "Chesca gave it to me," He smirked. "Gave it to you, huh? Why? Are you going on a date?" Zacarias asked if I am free this weekend. He said, he'll go out of town and will be searching a place where he wanted to deploy another resort again to be added in his business. Since I wasn't busy at all, I didn't have the g8uys to decline the offer and nodded immediately. I rolled my eyes at my brother whilst I was busy putting all the fruits inside the fridge. Before I could go here, I decided to take some groceries since I won't be visiting and staying here this weekend. Though, there's a nurse who will check my brother hourly. The first thing I bought earlier was the apples. Why? It's because its the primary food my brother wanted. Honestly, he's just five years younger than me. He was thin, maybe it's because due to the cancer he has. Cancer has no cure and the only thing that can prolong your life was the chemotherapy. The dollars Zacarias sent me, I have no intentions keeping it in for me but instead, I will use it for my brother to make his life more comfortable until he was still breathing. He was still a child back then when he was hospitalized. Luckily, the hospital was alright taking my brother in as part of the foundation they wanted to built in. "Was it bad wearing a dress?" I couldn't stop myself from being conscious about the clothes I was wearing. Suddenly, Andrius giggled out of nowhere as I helped him lay above his hospital bed. "Oh, by the way. Susan was giving me food regularly but can I request something?" He asked, a bit hesitant. I didn't bother raising my gazes at him but instead, I continued on what I was doing and took care of it. "What is it, Andrius?" He hummed. "Can I ask for chocolates next time, Andra?" Zacarias fridge has a lot of chocolates inside his fridge and some are beers he often drinks at night. Thinking of getting some of it, my eyes went at my wallet and just decided to buy him when I came back. My eyes went to my brother, I nodded my head deliberately as I sighed heavily, a bit having a second thought whether to buy him or not. Honestly, I am not giving him food that could trigger his cancer more regards of what he feels. "Alright, I'll give you one if you'd behave here until I come back." Andrius and I talked for almost an hour. Zacarias will come home later at four in the afternoon and then after that, we'll now go to the other place and check the place that his secretary was saying. He already informed me going there and not gonna lie, I couldn't feel anything aside from being happy and at the same time, being excited. "Where are you going exactly, Andra?" he asked, a little bit suspicious. I hummed. "Chesca and our other friends was inviting me for a birthday party. Though, I don't think I can visit your or stay here this weekends as I will be getting busy…" Andrius nodded his head as sadness was flashed in his face. He frowned, making me sad for my brother. I stood from my seat and sat down beside his bed, I rubbed his back and kissed his cheeks. "Don't worry, I'll visit you often now. Or if you want, I'd stay here for more than a month," He sneered and looked away. "As if you're gonna do that," he asserted. "By the way, are you done polishing our apartment? I badly wanna go home, Andra, you know it…" "I haven't started yet and no, the doctor told me to only keep you here until there cure you," I said , to release him from stress he was thinking. My brother knew he had a cancer but I can't stand seeing my brother being beaten by this awful sickness that has no cure. Honestly, amongst a the unfortunate people, my brother had be given a chance to be part of an organization that helps people who's sick and people who seeks for someone that they could help them. An hour had passed when my phone rang, slowly, I took my phone above the table and saw that Zacarias was already calling. However, I can't bid a proper good at my brother who was now sleeping soundly above his bed. A small dimple smile crept on my lips as I leaned forward closer to him, kissed his forehead as I turned around and walks towards then answered Zacarias' call. "I'm outside the hospital, sweetie. Come out," he said.
