Chapter 2 : The Interview.

Tiara waited patiently, listening to the murmur of conversations around her. When Ethan called her name, she stood up, smoothed her dress, and followed him to the interview room. Rachel greeted her warmly and began the interview. "Tiara, can you walk me through your experience with financial modeling and data analysis?" Tiara launched into a confident explanation, highlighting her relevant coursework, projects, and internships. Rachel listened attentively, nodding and taking notes. As the interview drew to a close, Rachel leaned back in her chair, a thoughtful expression on her face. "Tiara, thank you for sharing your experiences and insights with me today. I must say, I'm impressed." Rachel paused, reviewing her notes. "Your technical skills are strong, and you've demonstrated a good understanding of financial concepts. However, I'd like to see more examples of how you've applied these skills in real-world scenarios." Tiara nodded, taking Rachel's feedback on board. "I understand, and I'll make sure to provide more specific examples in the future." As Rachel concluded the interview, she nodded thoughtfully and made a note on Tiara's resume. "I'll make sure to pass on my recommendations to Asher. He'll be making the final decision." Tiara's curiosity was piqued. "Asher Gold? I've heard a lot about him." Rachel smiled. "Yes, Asher is a... dynamic leader. He's very hands-on and involved in all aspects of the company." Just then, the door opened, and Asher himself walked in with Ethan at his back. "Rachel, how did the interviews go?" he asked, his eyes scanning the room. Rachel stood up, gesturing to Tiara. "Asher, this is Tiara White, one of our top candidates for the financial analyst position." Asher's gaze locked onto Tiara, and he spoke, "Ah, Tiara. It's a pleasure to meet you." Asher asked Tiara a few questions and was pleased with her confidence. Despite being a bit rude, he approved of her. Asher leaned back in his chair, steepling his fingers together as he regarded Tiara. "Well, well, well. You're quite impressive, Tiara. I must say, I'm not often surprised by candidates, but you... you have a certain spark." He smiled, a hint of arrogance playing on his lips. "I think you'll fit in nicely here at Gold Enterprises. You have the brains, the talent, and the looks. We'll make sure to put you to good use." Rachel shot Asher a subtle warning glance, but Tiara seemed oblivious to the undertone. "Thank you, Mr. Gold," she said, her voice confident. "I'm excited to contribute to the team." Asher stood up, towering over Tiara. "Welcome to Gold Enterprises, Tiara. I expect great things from you." With that, he left with Ethan.
