Chapter Six I woke up to the sounds of seagulls fighting overhead. It took a few seconds to open my eyes. The sun was already out. My forehead was burnt; the skin was tight and tender. I had a blinding headache. I looked at Benji staring up at me, threw a shoe at him and looked around. I was still in the courtyard. My stomach churned so I jumped up and made it to the trees at the edge of the courtyard just in time to vomit up the contents of my stomach.
