I ran without thinking and my feet barely touched the ground as I pushed forward, heart pounding, lungs burning. The mansion was massive, it was an endless maze designed to keep people like me trapped. The front gates were a lost cause as the guards wouldn’t let me through, and I wasn’t stupid enough to try.
But I had done my research and busy making sure to find routes for escape out of the mansion.
