Valerie’s POV:
The moment we reappeared in our room I honestly couldn’t believe the fact that the spell worked, I’m seated right where I was previously with the stones in my hands and Aurora across on her bed with Ifrinn nestled on her lap.
Glancing at her I wonder if she remembers everything just as much as I did and the way her eyes flickered around the room kind of clued me in.
“Did we succeed?” Aurora whispers, and I can’t help but share her disbelief.
Not because we doubted ourselves, -we totally did- but because I’m feeling extremely fuzzy in the head and honestly all of this just feels like I woke up from a long dream where things were crazy for a while with the ColdFire demon terrifying the capital city of Agrippa.
“I think we did.” I nod, letting out a laugh of amazement.
