Susie and James sat down on the couch in the sitting room, waiting for their mother to come downstairs. They both had things to tell her.
Susie looked at James pitifully, he couldn't secure the janitor position. He came back home and walked to his room. He had not come out of his room for a day, he looked like he had encountered demons when he came back two days ago from Emerald Group. His bright face had turned gloomy and one could tell he was worried.
When Kate came down, she noticed her son's face and immediately she could tell he was deeply worried about something.
