The officiate began her speech, though Yvan and Caleana were not paying much attention to her. They had been looking at each other. Caleana had never been so beautiful to Yvan, and she could the same thing about him herself. He wanted to kiss her, her hair, he wanted to hug her close to him for the rest of his life. She wanted to sleep in his arms every night until they day they would die. She never wanted to leave his side or go a single day without letting him know that she loves him. She wanted to make him a father and watch him take care of their children with him. She wanted to do so much with him, and he wanted to give her everything. He wanted to give her the world, the moon and all of the universe if he could.
