It's been a few days and Martha is still unconscious. Whoever attacked her, did a pretty clean job. If not for Pierre, Martha would have been dead. I approached her bed and she laid, struggling to breathe... but the royal healers told me that she'll be fine as soon as her magic is restored.
To be honest, for magic to be restored, the witch's body has to go through very painful process but now that she's not even conscious, she won't feel it.
I had to find out who did this. If Martha's best tracker is still missing that means he is not able to find out anything about the attacker. And to be honest, Pierre is said to be pretty good at that. It's time to choose the alternative. If the attack on her is in any way, related to my mother's death, I'll destroy the person who is
