[June 10. Friday. 17:42] Kael awoke with a jolt when he felt his phone vibrate under the pillow. Groaning, he sat up and glared at Joaquin's name before answering the call. “What? I was sleeping,” he drawled, annoyed. “Oh, sorry about that. Anyway, I just called to tell you that we’ll meet them later at the plaza in Solomon. Eight in the evening.” Joaquin sounded excited. Sighing, Kael nodded. “Yeah, yeah. We’ll fetch you at seven . . . thirty, I guess.” He opened one of his heavy eyelids to glance at Arthur’s sleeping figure. “I’ll hang up now.” When the call finally ended, Kael shifted on his seat before leaning in to bury his face on the nook of Arthur’s neck.
