Ah it was indeed an onerous feat to be sent to buy alcoholic beverages, of all things, in an unknown town with a boy that was apparently his cousin.
Kael sighed; he has to put up following Rene around the town, though at first it was a bother that they didn’t take transportation and walked on foot, but as Kael looked around, he figured it was not at all bad. The houses, almost all of them, felt like it sent him back in time, perhaps in the late eighteen hundreds. He could almost imagine the carriages’ wheels thunking on the concrete pavements, and the horses’ hooves stepping—almost trudging on the street, and the lively and formal greetings of the common folks walking around in the afternoon.
