[January 21. Friday. 11:25] It was already noon when Kael stealthily went back to his room as to avoid having to see Niccolo or Ryse get out of their own room. He figured they wouldn’t be up until twelve, for their appointment for today with the person who had Ariadna Sovrani’s painting in their possession was still scheduled after lunch at two. As Kael twisted the knob of his room’s door, he heard the seemingly loud thud of a door behind him. It had closed shut.
